Complaints: keyboard tray is a bit wobbly. Also, I wish there were a broader range to move the monitors up & down. I am 5'11 (plus I stand on a comfort mat) and when I have the monitor attachment so it is eye-level when I stand, it doesn't quite go low enough to be eye level when I sit. However, for the price, you can't be it!
The keyboard try does jiggle a bit while typing, but again, something that I was easily able to adjust to since this is EXACTLY what I was looking for and I avoided that $500 price tag of other units.
The keyboard tray cannot be used in a sitting position if clamped to a desktop. The tray can only be lowered to about two inches *above* the desktop surface. According to CNET's article "5 ways to make your office desk more ergonomic," the correct position is "1 to 2 inches above your thighs." The only way I could do that was to clamp the bottom of the workstation about 24 inches above the floor.
Having tried that kludge, I could not adjust the workstation so the monitor was further than about 18 inches from my eyes; too close! (See the photo I've attached to this review.) The CNET article advises, "sit back and extend your arm. The tips of your middle finger should land on your screen." For me, that's about 25 inches. A too-close monitor is sort of okay in landscape mode (you can move your eyeballs from side to side without turning your neck), but not in portrait mode.
I really wanted this product to work. I've come to like Vivo a lot; I'm going to replace the SIT-STAND1 with a Vivo STAND-V001O to mount my monitor. (I'm not yet sure what to do with my keyboard.)
Sadly, this SIT-STAND1 is going back.
