My daughter begged me for a "princess computer" and so for Christmas last year we bought her this one. The toy is pretty and she loved it but it was soon a major hassle. The battery cover doesn't stay on well and does not have protection from keeping little ones from opening it. The mouse plugs in (sort of like a telephone cord) and was broken off in no time. I would not purchase this if I had to do it again.

I purchased this for my four yr. old granddaughter. She liked the fact that it is made similar to a real laptop and it has a mouse. She didn't seem to mind the very small screen. She tried a few of the games but soon lost interest. My granddaughter had been playing games on my laptop and these games were not as interesting. This would be nice for a four or five year old who had never used a computer. It is not suitable for a younger child.

Just got this yesterday and so far I am impressed with how well made it seems to be. My daughter has been begging me for this for close to 6 months and will be so excited when she opens it up on Christmas day. I am hoping the age range listed (4-7) is correct so that my daughter will be entertained for a couple years with this toy. I will try to update this review after she has played with it for a little while.

VTech kind of dropped the ball on this one. The screen is way too small and the keyboard is not really a good design for the age group that this is designed for. The majority of kids this age don't know how to type. We bought this for our 4 1/2 year old granddaughter and she rarely plays with it. Pretty pricey for a toy that mostly just sits and gathers dust. Would be much nicer with a larger screen and more touch screen options. Would not recommend this.

Ok, my daughter is only 9 months old but the computer toys for her age range just wouldn't do. She loves to be on mommy computer so I bought this. She doesn't know how to play any of the games yet, but she does know how to run her fingers across the key pad like mommy and make it sound as if she is truly typing. She sometimes actually press the buttons and change the settings but we love it.

This fun for my daughter but it is very limited on how many games there are and I think I would have much rather spent the money on a kids tablet. She likes to play with it but does not stay on for very long.

My daughter wasn't crazy about the mouse. She wanted the one with the headphones (way more expensive). But she is pretty happy with it. Still too advanced for a 3 year old. Maybe she will give it a better use during the next year.
