Vaccines are not as safe and effective as we have been lead to believe. A discerning parent weighs the likeliness of contracting each illness, the risk of contracting the illness, with the effectiveness of the vaccine and the known and suspected risks of the vaccine. Saying all vaccines are "safe and effective" is like saying all prescription drugs are safe and effective. The "one size fits all" approach to vaccination is at odds with every other kind of medical treatment. We have exchanged relatively minor infectious diseases for chronic, life long neurological and immunological conditions. Be an informed parent.

Purchased this book upon the birth of our first child. Was looking for something a bit more purely scientific and less far leaning. It was evident that the authors are heavily anti-vaccine. For example, this talks about the tetanus vaccine being used for population control.

Would not recommend for people that want an un-biased opinion / research of vaccines.
