I bought this for cleaning the seats of my 2005 Suburban. I use the vehicle primarily for my construction business, but it is also our vacation vehicle.

I use it with a very high powered vacuum. The beaters still won't turn unless I only have one side of them on the fabric. But it still does a good job of getting the dust out of the fabric.

This is a useful tool. It works better than a similar vacuum powered head that came with our in-house vacuum system (that cost 10x what this did). I use this mostly for cat hair (Maine Coon X 4) removal on furniture. Yes, it clogs up, sometimes rather quickly, but it is easy to take apart and clean without tools (well, scissors are good for get the hair wrapped around the beater off), this was the downfall of the aforementioned in-house attachment as it required dis-assembly with a screwdriver and even then the beater bar bearings would get hair in them and could not be removed, eventually jamming the beater. This tool has no such problems as it can be completely taken apart.
The only thing I could wish for is if the angle of the vacuum tube to the head was adjustable. It is ok for using it on a hand nozzle on furniture, but if you want to use it on the floor with a long wand it doesn't work as well because the angle is too low.

This is ok, I was thinking it would be a little more angled I guess when I got it. I have all tile throughout my home, I wanted something small to attach to my shopvac to eliminate the need for an actual vacuum. I have a couple area rugs and thought this would be a perfect addition. Unfortunately, it doesn't really go with a standing up position so you have to bend over the whole time to get the right angle for doing rugs. I did like that it literally pulled all of the pet and my hair out of the rugs, I mean they never looked so clean, just crazy on your back after bending for so long. I will use it for my car, I feel like it's going to clean that carpet so well. I wouldn't recommend it for those of you, like me, trying to do a couple rugs. It's not for the "weak" backed! Over all, it's not a horrible product, what you are vacuuming with it will be superbly clean!

This is an amazing little tool. I am a professional car detailer and I use this for work (and at home). I use it with a Ridgid 4 gallon 5 horsepower wet/dry vac that produces very strong suction. I have never been able to stop the brush from rotating with this setup. It's able to beat beach sand out of floor mats and carpeting and it also gets rid of pet hair leaving the carpet and upholstery free of such things when I'm finished. I had the ShopVac turbo brush before this one and it was junk. It worked great for a while but it eventually wouldn't spin up anymore even after a complete disassembly, cleaning and lube. It was as if it would bind up and just not spin to full speed. Even when it worked properly it never spun as fast as this one nor did it ever perform as well. This Turbo Brush is awesome! I honestly don't know how I ever vacuumed properly before I started using these tools. I really like the finish it leaves on the carpet and floor mats. My customers always comment about how nice their carpets and mats look once the nap is raised and laying in the same direction. That's something that's difficult to accomplish with normal vacuum attachments. This makes it far easier and quicker. In business, time is money!

For those of you who comment that the brush is too far down in the unit to make contact with the carpet and deducted stars from your reviews as a result, the bottom piece with the rubber fingers snaps off. Once it's removed, the rotating brush stands proud of the housing and makes full contact with the carpet or upholstery. That piece with the rubber nibs, or fingers, is for loosening pet hair that has become woven into the fibers of fabric or carpet and it works great for this. Once you're done with that, pop the bottom piece off and go to it with the rotating brush. While the company should certainly have included instructions and explained that the pet hair attachment is indeed removable, I figured it out within 30 seconds of removing the Turbo Brush from the packaging. I noticed the two little tabs on the back side of it on either side of the housing, pressed down on them and off popped the pet hair attachment. Perhaps I'm more mechanically inclined than most, but I found it and thought I'd pass the info along for those of you who are on the fence and read the reviews about the brush being too far down into the housing. It's Not! The pet hair attachment is removable. I've added some photos of the unit with and without the pet hair attachment on it so you can see the difference and I got one shot of it from the side with the attachment removed and the brush standing proud of the housing. You can also see the tabs you push to remove the attachment in the photos.

Comes apart easily in order to clean inside. Like the plastic turn knob that loosens up the unit but does not come off. My old one (not this brand) had a nylon ring that slid on and off and was easy to loose. Also the angle when using looks like it will keep the tube end from bending and breaking which happened to the old one due to putting pressure on the turbo nozzle to effectively clean carpeted stairs. Have not had any issues with cat hair becoming trapped in the spaces of the assembled pieces which can be almost impossible to get out as they wind up tight causing complete failure over time.
Had to take off the 'guard' which comes off easily to have it pick up pet hair on the carpeted stairs, otherwise it just went over the carpet without pulling out the hair and dirt as the beater brush was too high off the carpet. Think that with the guard on would work effectively on upholstery but haven't tried it. Works very well with my vacuum as the vacuum has great suction so the roller on this nozzle rotates effectively. It does a thorough job of cleaning the carpeted stairs - takes out all the dirt from hair, dust and kitty litter but is not harsh on the carpet fibers.
On the con side - Cost more then what I wanted to spend but am quite pleased with its function and glad I bought it. Have used it for many months and it has not broken and a snap to clean.
Some how I ordered 2 ! of them and was a little aggravated with my self. But after using this for a week or so decided to not send the second one back as it works so well and will give it to my daughter. If it had been so so I would have returned the second one rather then giving it.
