Purchased the Valco Baby Twin Tri Mode Stroller when we found out we were having twin girls and we snagged this Joey Toddler Seat to accommodate their big brother. We recently took the whole set-up for use at Disneyland with our three kids (two four month-olds and a two year-old) and we were stopped frequently to be asked, "Where did you get that awesome stroller?!" The Joey Toddler Seat is a great addition because it adds no bulk to your twin stroller and still allowed our twin girls in back enough room for legs and wiggles. Our son loved his front-row seat! It really is a convenient addition. Our reasoning for four stars is really because, while the Joey Toddler Seat can be folded down with the stroller, it makes the whole process more difficult. And considering this is a 39-pound stroller, that isn't fun--especially in the middle of Disneyland. The Joey Toddler Seat also has no place for your child to safely store items such as their sippy cup or toys when they're done using them, and in no way can you child comfortably nap in this seat, but we weren't surprised by these things considered the layout of it. Still, overall, this really is a great addition to the Valco Baby Twin Tri Mode Stroller. The set-backs are minor in consideration of the benefits of the Joey Toddler Seat as a third seat to what's already a pretty legit stroller.
Product is awesome. Keeps my two year old strapped in and safe on walks with me and her six month old twin brothers. We receive lots of compliments and envious stares. I just feel annoyed with Valco's nickeling and diming every item-- I mean, seriously, for 99 bucks for something that doesn't have wheels-- could you have included a sunshade?? So, the value isn't quite there for me. Fortunately, I got the stroller used.
