UPDATE!! ... I noticed that ever since i started using this power source/plug/wire for device, my cars TPMS light comes on along with a message on the dashboard saying i have a defective tire pressure monitor (which is in the wheel) on my 2010 Ford Escape. Its caused by the plug in the cigarette lighter DOES NOT HAVE AN INTERNAL SHIELD THAT INTERFERES WITH THE COMMUNICATION OF THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR AND THE MODULE FOR IT. So don't go crazy replacing good TPM sensors when its not the problem. I had a similar problem once from another phone charger and the same thing happened and researched and found out the cause.The light goes off the dashboard when i unplug the charger and the TPMS readings comes back to normal.

Functions as intended for a Escort Passport, but in my 2005 CRV it annoyingly constantly falls out of the cigarette lighter anytime I accelerate onto a highway, for instance. It works when you shove it all the way in, but easily slips out... like it's just a bit too thick. Really annoying because it doesn't solve the reason I got it, intermittently going off....

Update: I bought the other product that looks similar to this one, and the reason it works so much better, are the little spring loaded pins on the sides. They simultaneously make the electrical connection and hold the unit in snugly, this one has tiny pins, while the other one has much larger oval shaped pins, probably better spring in them too, as it has no trouble staying in place. I would highly recommend going with the other one, not this one above.
