Valley Of Death, Zombie Trailer Park (KECK Book 1) Kindle Edition
What kind of zombies are they?
There has been an interesting but ultimately pointless debate going on for years about what constitutes a zombie. Is it a dead person who walks around causing mayhem? Or is it someone who is violently insane and seeks only to kill and destroy? Why not both?
Nestled in a remote valley, the residents of The Albuquerque Springs Trailer Park have lived out there lives nearly forgotten by the rest of the world. The trailer park is home to dozens of illegal immigrants, a hermit who has turned his back on society, a veteran of World War 2, a grumpy old woman, a family of Meth cookers known to local police officials as the Redneck Gourmets, and a beautiful young woman, are just a few.
Life was peaceful and quiet (actually quite boring) until a deadly industrial accident killed Juan, one of the illegal immigrants. His friends and neighbors promised to dispose of the victim's body. Unfortunately, he came back and disposed of them- one mouthwatering bite at a time.
William Robert Bebb: Who is he?
Born in southern California in the 1960’s, William Bebb is a man of many talents. In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, he earned scholarships for Forensic Speaking at two universities. William was also Editor of a University of Alabama at Birmingham's premier newspaper from 1989 to 1991.

Editorial Reviews
From the Author
This is a warning. This novel deals with the undead and crazy people. There are very few depictions of ponies prancing gaily across pastures.
BUT there are numerous depictions of violence, blood, mayhem, and gore. I am writing this warning because someone wrote a rather nasty yet hilarious review of VOD after proudly explaing she couldn't make it through the 2nd chapter due to, among other things that she found distasteful, the "Gross" factor.
Some people might believe a zombie book would be expected to have some "Gross" stuff in it. How to create a joyous cheerful undead tale is beyond my mental abilities. Apparently, I was super predictable and presented homicidal zombies as violemt and gross monstrosities. (weeping pitifully) Don't read this book. It's gross.
Oh yeah, and some animals die in the story too and some people objected strenuously to that also, but those folks were goofy. I don't give animals a free pass from ravenous undead because people from some animal rights group says it's naughty to depict animals being eaten and or torn apart by zombies. That's just silly. So, do not NOT read VODZTP because of that stupid reason. I just thought for full disclosure sake I'd mention it.

Lying in bed one night, I picked up my Kindle to read. Realizing that I had already read all of the books I had downloaded, with the exception of this one, I sighed. I didn't feel like trying to find an interesting ebook to download, but wasn't quite ready to go to sleep. I decided to give it a try. At worst, it would help me get to sleep faster.
I was pleasantly surprised. The book was pretty good. There were a few things that I didn't like, but I rarely find a book that I like everything about. I do feel its worth mentioning my thoughts about Billy. Mr. Bebb seemed to jump around a bit with Billy's cognitive abilities. I would read something that seemed like he was writing about a 4 year old, then read something else about him that was more age appropriate, then later read something that seemed far beyond the cognitive capabilities of a child of his age. I would be more specific but I don't want to give away a spoiler. I hate it when people do that.
There were some things that just didn't seem realistic. No, I don't mean any of the "zombie stuff". If Mr. Bebb is interested, I would be more than happy to elaborate in a private message so as not to give things away about the novel.
Originally, I was going to give a rating of 3 stars, but realized through writing my review that the few things I found wrong didn't deserve to take away a complete star.
With the exception of the few things I couldn't seem to get past, and the typical grammatical and spelling errors that all e-book have, it was pretty well written. Throughout reading the book, you really get to know the characters and develop feeling of like or dislike for them. The plot was believable and the descriptions were an overkill. This was the first novel I've read that was written by Mr. Bebb. Overall, I did like the book enough to want to explore more of his writings. I'm glad that I didn't allow the title of the book to "scare" me away from reading it.
Okay, I am a HUGE fan of the whole post-apocalyptic and /or zombie genres; if you are not, you may not want to rely solely on my review.
When I came across this title I almost laughed out loud. Zombies AND a trailer park? Come on, this is too good to be true! I decided before I even read the description of the book that I had to have it in my library. I actually got it for free because I'm an Amazon Prime member. However, I would have happily paid $3.99 for it.
I absolutely LOVE this book! It is one of the best zombie books I have ever read. The characters are all unique, especially the strange ones. You know that feeling you get when you're reading and come across a character that is exactly like the guy that sacks your groceries and has a slightly lazy eye that always seems to be looking at YOU? Or that weird kid in your 5th grade class who wiped boogers under his desk and ate his scabs? Or the weird uncle that always stands a little too close, talks a little too loudly, and still lives in his mother's basement at age 43? This book is full of people like that.
There's plenty of normal, relatable characters also. But remember, even "normal" people have quirks, too!
The story moves along like any other in its genre--some mysterious "incident" creates hordes of undead that are hungry for living flesh. Any survivors must fight through the madness if they have any desire to live. There's plenty of blood and gore and death. I'm oversimplifying, of course, but I don't want to give too much away. Suffice it to say, the book has a great plot and is worth reading.
What is different about this zombie book is that it takes place in a TRAILER PARK! (Ok, I'm poking fun at trailer parks, but don't judge me. I've lived in at least 3 trailers during my life. One of them even got hit by a tornado!)
All-in-all, I wholeheartedly recommend this book.
P.S. I'm kind of obsessive-compulsive about grammar and spelling. However, since getting my Kindle (and Kindle apps), I've had to learn to be more forgiving. A disturbing amount of e-books contain an astounding number of grammar and spelling mistakes. I'm sorry to say that "Valley of Death, Zombie Trailer Park" has its share of grammatical errors, mostly concerning the comma. But this book is so good, I DON'T EVEN CARE!!! A good book is a good book because of its words (even the occasional misspelled word), not because of punctuation.
●●●THANK YOU, WILLIAM BEBB, for a most enjoyable read! I read your preface and closing thoughts. It prompted me to start reviewing the books I read--especially the ones in which the author requests it. I'm just getting started with my reviews, but I sincerely hope they help both authors and readers. Again, thanks for an awesome book.●●●

I liked that people didn't suddenly have all these guns and went around shooting everything and that it wasn't all technical with gun brands n bullets n stuff, some authors go into so much detail that it takes over.
I also liked the comedy in the book, there were a few lol moments.
Just a minor wee gripe, I didn't feel that the 2 minute romance was required, it seemed very fake and did nothing for the story. I just didn't buy it, they meet then within minutes they`re in love? If that's the least believable bit in a zombie novel then somethings gone a bit wrong.
I would recommend that you give this a read as its obviously a matter of personal taste but hey I enjoyed it!

The author has an immense talent at telling a story and he makes you grow to not only love most of the characters but to also understand them and their actions during this post apocalyptic ride!
Don't hesitate to download this to your device! A masterpiece that I think Hollywood could quite easily snap up if they have the balls to do so!
