a large exterior planter box and it holds up. i have now
tried it on soft plastic rubbery plastic coated wall hook prongs.
the verdict is still out on how it will stand up to wear and tear.
It sprays unevenly. It leaves drips and gobs of paint everywhere. Worst of all, it NEVER dries. It stays tacky for weeks, and it stays sticky forever. There is a picture of a patio chair on the can. God forbid you sit in a chair that's been painted with this crap, because it will never come out of your clothes.
Before you ask: Yes, I followed the directions on the can to the letter. I also prepped the surface correctly. This product is simply junk.
Thanks a lot, Valspar. I now know the level of quality to expect from your paint, and I will never buy anything with your name on it again. Well done!
All three have great and terrible reviews for their paints for plastic and their primer paints for plastic. I flipped a coin (also I couldn't find Rust-oleum at my local Lowe's) and bought the Valspar. Big mistake.
Despite shaking for two minutes, I got splatter, poor coverage and virtually none at the recommended 9 to 10 inch distance. The propellant petered out so that the pressure was poor and I was left with probably half a can of paint that can't be used.
Luckily what I was painting did not need to have a good finish because it wasn't. Uneven, splattered, and not glossy is what I got.
