The only thing that I wished could have happened (maybe there will be in the future) was a better ending. Don’t get me wrong, the ending was good in a feel good way but very sudden and more questions that I wanted answered. Again, I don’t want to spoil it but an Epilogue would of been great.
Mini cliffhanger at end
Sex scenes were sexy, romantic and short
Fortunately for her, she is cared for by a very compassionate man Dr. Jack Walker whom she begins to rely on to get her through her recovery as her only friend. However, she cannot shake the occasional feeling that being watched. But luckily for her and us the readers, she is being watched by the sexily mysterious Sebastian Alexander, who only wants her happy.
Nevertheless, the relationship between Jane Doe & Dr. Walker grows, they get married and it appears a happily ever after is on the horizon until tragedy strikes again. Dr. Walker is mugged and killed on or around their anniversary. As Jane is slowly recovering from her loss, the mysterious Sebastian moves into the house next door. She feels a pull in his direction however; she is being dragging in another direction by her deceased husband's twin brother. Now, I just thought that was a bit creepy and fortunately for me, I wasn't the only one because the thought never quite sat right with Jane.
This book had its fair share of suspense, drama, and swoon worthy moments without reading like the cliché paranormal vampire novel. Not that I have read all that many, it was not overdone; just enough for you to know that a vampire was in the storyline. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who loves a good and well developed story that moves over time as in years and months instead of days and weeks. Well done Ms. Snyder!

This story is a different from most of the vampire books that I have read recently in that it really is not all about the vampire or vampirism but more of a love taken away, a sacrifice for the one you love, and then the journey of reclaiming a lost love.
The characters were well written and even though we are not given much of their background and history I still felt like I was able to understand them. This is difficult for a lot of writers to do so kudos there.
The story line flowed at a good pace and the scenes were written in a way that I was able to form a picture in my head without endless surrounding descriptions, also not always easy to do.
I read this book in two days and with work, life and the pursuit of writing my own book should tell you that it really kept my attention.
The plot is good enough that I had an idea of where it was going but there were still some nice twists in there and not too much drama especially with Elizabeth which as a guy reading what would be classified as a romance book was very much appreciated.
If you enjoy romance novels or even if you’re just in to vampire books then I would recommend this book. The romance is not all syrupy and in your face so don’t be afraid guys if you are worried about your manhood if your caught reading it .

However, after coming across this author via twitter, then Facebook, and finally here on Amazon, and being impressed with the 'blurb', my gut was telling me to take a chance - which I suppose is a win for both me and social media?
Once I began to read, I found that this is rather more than just a vampire tale. It's actually a story about loss, the ability to love more than once in our lives, and the joy of rediscovery. Add in evil intent and obsession... and you have a little gem!
There were some points within the plot where I wanted to know 'more', and there are questions that I still feel I want answered--but as I'm hoping this won't be the last story I get to read about Sebastian and Jane, I'm willing to forgive the author on those points... and it certainly didn't stop me from enjoying this story.
Also, if this is one of the first books by this author, I have high hopes for the stories that her creativity and talent will produce in the future. The ability to write is the start of a journey for both the author and their readers - and this is a very good start! I look forward to reading more of Angela Snyder's work.
You get so involved with the story it's just brilliant. I don't want to give too much away but the twists are so good.
I can't wait to read more from this talented author.
Thanks for publishing this story and sharing with us. It's not often you get stories that keep your attention throughout.
Can't say enough good things about this.
