Thomas was asked by Bastien to travel to England to see if he could track down Marguerite (Thomas' aunt/mother & Bastien's mother) as they can't get ahold of her by phone; especially to let her know about her new granddaughter.
Inez works for the Argeneau's in their London office & was asked by Bastien to pick Thomas up from the airport & help him with the investigation of finding Marguerite. & when she finally gets to the airport he doesn't see her even though she sees him & tries to get his attention before he gets into a cab. However, she doesn't succeed & follows him to the hotel where he's staying & give him what for in both English & Portuguese (which Thomas doesn't understand at least the Portuguese part).
That starts the beginning of their relationship in which after he bit her & then couldn't read her mind to wipe the memory of that bite.
This book contains lots of sex scenes, a good vs bad plot as some other immortal keep taking control of Inez in order to wipe her memory & then later tried to kill her a couple of times, some of the couples from the other books in this series & lots of traveling.
This book was very good & there were some parts of it that I remember from the last time (a very long time ago) I had read this book.
Trying to find another Immortal with no true information was harder than Thomas and Inez realized until trying to trace her cell phone 📱. Running here, there and everywhere proved impossible because of course the phone 📱 was not where it was supposed to be.
The family arrived to help Thomas and Inez to find the matriarch while they fell in love 🥰. Recommend this book 📖 for pleasurable reading.
One of Your Greatest Fans,
This one was full of mystery! Tracking down a missing person.
Thomas and Inez tried to figure out this lifemate business as well as a missing person case! The chemistry was great!
Some of the story was wrapped up, but it was still a cliffhanger. I need to find the next in the series so I can find out what happens. yes, I know I just said you can read each without the others!!!!! This is no different- it does have a semi happy ever after. Just a little question left unanswered, and its gonna bother me. LOL
The relationship between Inez and Thomas is the classic miss-understanding at first meeting. Despite the humor that in involved in their meeting and the discovery that Thomas isn't exactly human, I find that Inez, the main female character, to be the reason I return to the book again and again. Maybe it is her self consciousness, that she is insecure about herself (but not in the work place, she takes no prisoners), or that she isn't afraid to voice her opinions, even she is in unsure (yes, she is an interesting contradiction).
While I have read the majority of the series, this was the first book I read of the series, and my favorite of the Argeneau series.

Still lots if questions,
Looking forward to the next bok to what the hell....
Poor poor Thomas.
Book made me laugh, cry, gasp.
A wonderful read
Would recommend this no two books have been the same journey, makes you want to be a immortal though to spend eons with your perfect soul mate, I have mine just not the years.
The plot surrounds the search for Marguerite and the developing relationship between Inez and Thomas and Inez trying to accept that she is his lifemate. I loved Thomas in the previous books and was really looking forward to his story but I was a little disappointed with it. I still love Thomas and I really liked Inez too but I found the story of the search for Marguerite frustrating. I love books with a bit of a mystery aspect but I hate books with cliff-hanger endings. Yep - I have to read Vampire Interrupted to find out what happened to Marguerite which is fine considering I was going to read it next anyway but to be honest it really took away from this book not to have a proper ending.
If you love Argeneau vampires then read this book because no doubt Vampire Interrupted won't come together as it should without the stuff in this book. (This is Marguerite's story and surely this has to be spectacular because she is brilliant). Had this book not been in the middle of one of my favourite series' I probably wouldn't keep it - it lost 1 star for having a cliff-hanger (or non-ending) because I just hate them. The other half a star for pretty much the same reason - due to the nature of the book the plot never really went anywhere because it didn't have to with the conclusion in the next book. It was a decent read and Thomas is great but there are definitely better books out there.
Have fun!! :) x
