I am sure the other 2 would be as good as the first book as well.
Thanks Mandy for a great and enjoyable I table read.
Note: I think I got my copy from Smashwords. I chose to read and review it.
Jessica Moore is a witch who lives in a city that cannot be found on any map. She helps her mother Patty run her potion shop called “Patty’s Potions.” She can’t get a handle on her magic, but she can heal with the touch of her lips. She works in her mother’s magic store. She has just closed her mother’s shop when she stumbles across some feral vampires attacking another vampire. She saves the vampire from some feral vampires and as he is turning feral and fixing to attack her she just pulls him down to kiss him. He then for some unknown reason turns human again.
Kyle McKane is young man who is cursed by a witch to be a vampire. He is in Griffon looking for the witch so she can break the curse. He enlists the help of Jessica when her kiss turns him human just as he is about to bite her. Now Kyle is wondering what the connection is between Jessica and Mike Carter, the psychic detective who has a crush on Jessica? Who is turning the vampires feral? Will Jessica be able to keep her feelings for Kyle at bay, and vice versa? Will Jessica choose Kyle or Mike, or neither?
Even though Evey is a vampire and a secondary character in this story, she is the one that helps Jessica understand Kyle’s pull to her, and helps Kyle come to grips with his Vampire side. She is actually an AWESOME character for this story.
No Spoilers. ARC free book given in exchange for an honest review.
In a city that cannot be found on any map that is inhabited entirely by witches, warlocks, vampires, and werewolves, Kyle McKane is seeking a cure for a curse that turns him into a blood hungry vampire during the night, and leaves him an exhausted, sleep deprived human during the day.
Jackie Moore is probably the worst witch in the city apart from her ability to heal wounds and illnesses with a touch of her lips.
She rarely sees outsiders and is stunned to come face to teeth with Kyle when he finally succumbs to his hunger and attempts to bite her.
Instead she grabs him by the ears and kisses away his curse before he can sink his fangs into her.
The problem is that the cure is only temporary until Kyle turns again the next night, and then goes out in search of Jackie so that she can help him, whether she wants to or not.

I thought it was interesting the whole you aren't what you are but you are what you can't accept formula. It made it interesting to watch Kyle and Jackie together as each of them have their own agendas and emotional stances in the relationship.
The Vampire's Curse is well written but I do wish we'd gotten a better more developed exploration of their personal feelings as well as the back story which took a slight back seat to the involvement of our h/h but it was a great read and I liked it. Look forward to reading more installments from this series.
