In Vanishing Dreams, I found Dalton to fall fast and hard for Katie and Katie seemed to hold back, but why? I was interested in this story the entire time I read it, Katie had a secret...what was it? I couldn't wait to find out. As the story unfolded, I was wrapped up in the emotions between these characters, I wanted more for them and they were not communicating with each other, I was frustrated with Dalton and even Katie at times, but separately. I was yelling at them in my head, I wanted to sit them both in a room and make them talk it out. That is what made this a good story. Do the characters ever do what we want them to do and everything fall in line nicely? No, they need to do it the hard way. This was a beautifully written story, about 2 people who have lives that have been altered but they still found a way to have the dream.
I am a huge fan I thank nicole edwards for introducing me to the whole circle of friends and family..
onto this series of course she hits another homerun. Love Cooper,Tessa, Dalton and Lexi. great story... so many characters to build on and she does it beautifully. building them so that you already know about them when the next book comes out. it's hard to write a review and not give hints at o what the story is about but this is a series you want read. all of her series are one you want to read I have 19 of her books and I'm bummed I have to wait a month for her next one. and I'm super excited for her new series sniper .
Man in man I would just live to live in your head for a day. You don't just write great stories but you have us believing we live in these towns and all hang out!!! Thanks for sharing your stories with all of us!!!
Love our Nicole Nation 2.0
There were a few things in this one that bothered my OCD brain. Little things that I usually don't run into in this author's books. But seriously, Austin and Nashville are NOT in the same time zone. Just saying.
I had forgotten this book comes before the Braydon/Brendon books in Alluring Indulgence, so having Braydon on the ranch threw me for a loop at first. But I liked the small scene he was in where he and Dalton were both trying to avoid talking about their lives. Which also reminds me that there is a scene, Cooper's bachelor party, that I couldn't help but wonder if Tessa knew more than she let on. That was never circled back around to so I could have been reading too much into it all.
Dalton and Katie both act quite childish about some things and both ticked me off. Dalton for being a pig-headed sexist and Katie for withholding information and getting upset when Dalton reacts badly when he finds out from someone else. At least they address the fact that they were both at fault and both wrong. (I don't think that's a spoiler, we all know this is a HEA type of book.)
One last thing, I really enjoyed the small flirtation we got to see with Jack and I hope he gets his story told one day.
Lets be honest here. If you are reading this review you have more than likely read every book Edwards has published. If you haven't were the hell have you been? Under a rock? Any person that likes the steamy erotic love stories that Edwards writes, will love this book as well.
One of the things I LOVE about Edwards is she is not afraid to write about subjects that might make people uncomfortable. M/M Sex, M/F/M sex, Homosexuality, BDSM, Special needs people. The acceptance of the people I just mentioned by all the main characters. I am so happy to see an author take difficult subjects and turn them into books you just can't put down.
