Great napkin choice

My husband and I were recently married and we wanted to do a lot of the wedding ourselves to help save money. As a result, we chose to buy our napkins and cups and plates on Amazon instead of renting through a rental company. Linen napkins would have certainly been much more expensive! When it came to napkins, we wanted one that was simple but looked nice enough for a wedding and was cheap enough that we did not feel we were spending a lot on something that would just be thrown away. We also wanted a napkin that would hold up and not break as there would be children at the wedding and also spills and messes to clean up. In our search, we found these Vanity Fair Everyday Napkins. They were such a great find! They were perfect for the criteria we were trying to reach in a wedding napkin. They were only $0.02 per napkin which was great. We were able to get 400 napkins for only $8.08 which we were very happy about.

The napkin is all white, creating a simple, yet elegant look. The napkin is also sturdy and feels as if it is made of high-quality and durable material, not like the napkins that seem to tear with each use, such as the thin Bounty ones I grew up using. They were perfect for our wedding and now that we have some left over, they should be perfect for any parties we have. They are also larger than your standard napkin and stand up well in a napkin holder without falling over, as an added bonus. Highly recommended!

Fantastic napkins, well worth the price

These are the only napkins I ever buy. They are more expensive than the bargain brand, but we usually only need one per meal. The cheap napkins are so thin that we always need to use several per person for one meal. They are nice and thick and soft.

These napkins are very soft. They fit my Coca Cola napkin dispenser perfectly. The napkins that came with the dispenser were a bit grainy feeling. I gave these a try with I my dispenser by folding them 2 7/8" (The line above the sea shells) and they are perfect. Put the shorter end on the outside so that you'll be able to pull the napkin from the dispenser.

I use this brand of napkin exclusively and it is no wonder since it is such a high quality napkin compared to other brands. Highly recommended!

The Goldilocks Napkins

We purchase these for use at our small office. Probably not the cheapest available but they hit a sweet spot in terms of quality and value.

The napkins might be a bit small (they come folded in quarters, so in other words when you unfold the napkin fully you have one crease vertically and one crease horizontally) but I suppose it depends on what you are used to. Technically they are two-ply in that you can separate but they become ultra thin at that point and probably not useful any more (see pic for size and thickness elaboration).

I've used thicker and larger napkins but these are a good "Goldilocks" middle of the road purchase.

Thickness: (1 being very thin, 10 being the thickest) I would say they are maybe a 3 or 4?
Value: mid range (see breakdown below)
Size: smaller than dinner napkins I am used to but can cover your lap
Absorbency: due to their thinness they are good, but they are not paper towels.

I have purchased this brand three times over the past two years and the quantity and pricing available seems to fluctuate a bit. Would also recommend subscribe and save if you are the type to need napkins at this frequency.

$8.51 for 400 (.021/napkin)
$17.93 for 1080 (.016/napkin)
$23.64 for 1200 (.019/napkin)

Conclusion: good enough product that hits our sweet spot and haven't needed to look elsewhere

Soft, absorbent, large and attractive

I received a sample of these napkins from the Vine program a year or so ago and really liked them. I'd always bought whatever brand was cheap at the store and didn't give a lot of thought to it. However, I've only bought these Vanity Fair napkins since I tried them. They're soft and absorbent, attractively embossed, and big enough to do the job even during messy meals like ribs or wings. They are also thick enough that they don't droop over at the top when I put them in the napkin holder on the table.

Here on Amazon they're about 5 cents apiece, but I can get them cheaper at Walmart.
