I returned it right away. I like to have at least the first and second buttons of my shirts opened.
I do not recommend this bra. Very disappointing, the fit has nothing to do with the picture.
Major reason #1 is that it fits BOTH my breasts. One of my breasts is noticeably larger than the other, to the point where I'm constantly struggling between a size D and a DD. D-cup is too small for my left breast and perfect for my right, but a DD is much too large for my right, and perfect for my left. Not only that, but my left boob is much fuller on the top, while my right is sort of "scooped". This bra in a size 34D, for whatever reason, fits perfectly on both. I've bought several types of bras, both D and DD, and these have been the only ones which don't make my left boob look like it's about to pop out the top, or dwarf my right boob.
Major reason #2 is that it's super comfy for all-day wear, but sexy enough for a night-out. The band is supportive, as well as long-lasting, and the wires feel like they're not even there. I can wear it all day at work and have no complaints. Heck, riding on a bike on a rough road, and I barely notice any bouncing or discomfort. It's almost like I'm wearing a sports bra. The sheer fabric gives the bra some "pop", and the cute diamante accent, bow, and trim help keep the bra from feeling like those dowdy old-lady bras. I was always jealous of the ladies with smaller proportions because they got all the cute bras, and here I was stuck in the World of Beige and Blah. No longer! There are some nice patterns and colors available in all sizes (when they're not sold out), and to suit all clothing occasions.
Major reason #3 is the padding is just right. Not so much that it makes your boobs look twice the size and feel bulky, and not so little that on a cold day you have to worry about your headlights showing. It feels light and folds up easily when packing in a suitcase, but still provides good comfort and support. And, the fact that it's not a push-up bra is a huge plus. It's unbelievable how hard it is to find cute and sexy bras that aren't all push-ups.
Okay, so this bra is pretty amazing, but not completely without faults. The shoulder straps do tend to wear out quickly. I do constantly have to re-tighten the straps, and the older the bra gets, the more the strap holders just completely stretch out and fail throughout the day. However, I wore these bras day-in-day-out for a good 3-4 years, and it was only then that it got to the point where I realized I desperately needed some new ones. If I hadn't have moved to Australia, I would have bought more of these in a heartbeat, but they don't sell here, and trying to find them online AND eligible for shipping to Australia has been difficult (not to mention quite expensive).
And that can be another issue--as great as these bras are, they're just so rarely available in the larger sizes and colors other than black or beige. JC Penney still sell them (which is where I originally bought them) but again, availability is slim. I don't even know if these bras are really in production anymore, which is a shame. I have yet to find something that meets or exceeds the amount of comfort these do for the price you pay.
One final issue is that the material is not the softest I've seen in bras, but it's still soft and maintains its integrity pretty well. For ladies with more sensitive breasts, you might notice this more than I do. Also, if you're looking for a deep-plunge bra for all those sexy revealing dresses, this isn't really the bra for you either. It doesn't bother me as I don't like showing much cleavage, or I opt for dresses with built-in support, but it can be an issue for some.
Long story short, TL;DR, one-line summary: Ladies, these bras are excellent value for what they provide, and if you have oddly-shaped boobs and have searched for a comfortable, functional, yet stylish bra to fit your needs, this might just be what you've been looking for, and all at a wonderful price!
