It's just like the Vaseline I've used in the past. I had ear surgery and the surgeon said to keep the reconstructed part of my ear moist by using Vaseline. It goes on easy and stays on, except for getting in my hair but it's easily removed with a moist washcloth. As for the scent, I don't smell anything but I have allergies from about May through October every year. What I really like is that three tubs of Vaseline cost the same as one at a major retailor.
The only negative is, while it's been in the 90°F range to 114°F yesterday, averaging about 105°F since the surgery, if I spend more than a few minutes in the direct sunlight, small parts of the Vaseline tends to break down and run down my face. It's not a major problem since I'm suppose to apply it three times a day. It's good stuff.

One of the most useful products that has application in so many things. I particularly bought it for skin protection from acid while treating the infected skin around. I only used a tiny part of it since the box is huge.But this exact product is also available in dollar store for a bit cheaper price and that’s why I felt a bit tricked, since I saw it after purchasing from amazon. This is the only reason I am giving 4 stars to it.However, the product itself works good and so far I don’t have any other complaints.

Great value for the money! Please don’t listen to the negative reviews some are upset about the limited edition label. This is the real deal Vaseline. This is the Vaseline me and my family grew up on and love. Large 13oz jars enough to last a very long time. Plastic containers came well packaged in new condition.
