I've had dry skin all my life and I an load my face 10 times a day with creams and oils but I wont hold. Before long I am dry. I often use it as a night cream. Im blond and very light blonde so you know I am dry. I dont produce a lot of oils and dont sweat. It has to be real hot for me to sweat. I learned about Vasaline on the face from the Black people I saw in church who had beautiful skin and I asked them. They said, I use Vasaline at night all my life. But the Vasaline is not enough I use serums for feeding my face the food my 65 year old skin needs. I used the Merle Norman for many years and the Signature club A products but as money is tight I improvise. I like the skin care products and I do use them when I feel I need them but this does the trick as well. It does not have nutrients in it so I have to add serums as well. I often put it over skin creams as well. I like the greasy feel when I put some make up on and I use the clay colors not the wet. Especially around the eyes, I use a paste concealer the blue to cover any blacknesss and then put make up on top. When the vasaline soaks in I looks like my real skin color. When the vasaline soaks in it makes all the eye shadows stick to the skin and looks natural . The Idea is to erase everything and color my skin as I wish. Or just use concealer with blush. It rubs in so well and left to dry or soak in and presto!! perfect!

If it wasn’t made from distilled oil rig goo, it would be perfect. 😳

But seriously, if you have minor wounds you should use this instead of antibiotic ointment(s). You’ll likely heal better and more quickly. I’ve noticed a lot of people don’t realize they are mildly allergic to antibiotic ointments and that the resulting skin reactions (usually redness and slight swelling) actually reduces the efficacy of the body’s healing process. Makes sense, I mean if dermatitis is keeping your body’s immune system somewhat distracted/busy then it’s harder to focus on simply healing the injured area. After learning this lesson this summer after a minor surgery, I’m never turning back.

Bloody nose remedy

My son struggles very badly with bloody noses in winter due to the dry air and I. Summer due to allergies. We have added vaseline to our daily routine where we put it on a q tip and smeer it on the inside of his nose. Because it good consistency and it has no odors my son isn’t bothered by having this barrier put in his nose.
Since using this product we have not had any bloody noses. So we love it👍

This product had a strong chemical smell, not like other Vaseline brand jelly that I’ve purchased. Upon closer inspection although the label shows the registered Vaseline trademark it lists made in South Africa. So, probably different standards, but it continues to highlight being careful purchasing products online and through Amazon.

Vaseline is brilliant stuff; always has been, always will be! My issue with this item is that it is advertised as being in a 3.75 oz. container. This is not correct. These two Vaseline jars are 100ml each which converts to only 3.38 ounces, not 3.75 oz. While not a huge difference, the volume in the containers is not as advertised. I think the seller should properly state the amount of the product printed on the label of the jars that are actually going to be sent to buyers. The amount of Vaseline in these two small containers winds up being hugely expensive for what you actually get.

A better idea is just to pass on this item on the Amazon webpage. Far better for you to buy your Vaseline in this size (if you must) or a larger and more economical size at the pharmacy or Walmart.

This item is a sheer waste of money.
