I bought the black on black combination lock box. Setting the combination code was easy with the video provided on this listing. I'm really glad they included the video as this made it an easier process. My lock box was received in perfect condition. It's very easy to use. We ordered this on July 31, 2015. With Prime shipping we've been using it since two days after we ordered it. To date we've not experienced any issues with the lock not working. I was hesitant to buy this box because there were so many negative reviews regarding the quality of the locking mechanism. It wasn't until I read a negative review on another lock box complimenting this particular manufacture that I decided to give this lock box a chance. For the price I really feel like we got what we paid for. We aren't using this to keep thieves out. I'm sure the lock might be easily picked should someone want to. If I need a more secure lock box I would look else where. This is also smaller. If you are familiar with the kid's pencil boxes they use for school, this is that size. For our casual use this met our needs.
I've added some photos to help you visualize the size of this box. Forced perspective makes my 2nd photo look like the ruler isn't aligned to the outer edge of the left hand size. I assure you it is! :)
My 2nd to last photo shows the removable zipper pockets on the left hand side. These pockets are attached with Velcro. That is the top of the case. The right hand side with the mesh stationary pocket is on the bottom of the case where your items rest.Read more ›

I love this box, it is compact, sleek, durable & lightweight. For how much it is, it's worth it. I just use it to lock up medication and some cash and stow away. It is no sentry safe but it is great for that added precaution of keeping unwarranted people off your personal stuff. 4 stars just because at a glance, if someone was pretty determined it would just be a matter of a safety pin or bobby pin to maneuver through the mechanism and unlock. But other than that I highly recommend for at home safe keeping of your things!

Great little box for what I needed it for. I'm a musician and, without going in to a lot of detail, I use wireless equipment. I purchased this box for a place to keep batteries, extra guitar picks, strings, and the small set of tools I routinely use on my equipment. My lock, too, is a tad tricky to open, but I'll never use that feature.
If you know a musician that keeps a stock of batteries, picks, etc. they need to frequently access, this would be perfect for them. It's small, secure, and pretty well built. I plan on affixing Velcro to the bottom of the box and inside my amp cabinet. That will make it easily accessible and secure while traveling or at home.
Inside box:
I used a piece of plastic-type styrofoam, heated a large Phillips screwdriver with my propane torch, and melted the holes for the batteries. I used a knife to cut slits for the picks.
