Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This tool fell apart 5 minutes into removing the wax from my board. One of the screws at the endpoints fell out (the one holding the wax comb to the main body) and I do not have a screwdriver small enough to fix it at the moment (and I'm not sure if the tool would just fall apart again later). The tool seems very useful but not if they are all this fragile!
A heavy duty tool for those gadget people. I'm one of those people. Don't wear in the water, you'll sink as it's heavy, well built and stainless steel. Haven't used it as a wax comb or scraper as it is metal I don't want to scratch my boards but I think it is a useful tool for others thing and I just cool. Also comes with small fin box set screws just in case. Surf on!
I wanted to love this tool, but the screwdrivers don’t stick in place when you unfold them…really unuseable because screwdrivers collapse or flop back into the tool if you move it or apply any pressure trying to turn a screw…seems like they just didn’t tighten the bolts that hold them in the tool tight enough at production. No way I can see to do that now.
I'm on the fence about this one. Yes. It will work if that's all you have. That being said, would it be my "go to" tool? No. The screwdriver blade collapses during use and is too small for my taste . The tool is also awkward to hold. And personally i don't like using metal tools for wax removal and/or combs. The good news is it is compact and a decent tool if you're traveling and space is a premium. It's the only keychain, screwdriver, scraper, comb, fin key, bottle opener I know of on the market. It also makes a fun gift. PS you may have to tighen a couple of small screws when it arrives. But it's nothing major. See you out there.
