I will say, it isn't perfect. The fleas around here are mighty persistent.. and even on my indoor kitty I will occasionally find a bugger. But I wouldn't want it to be stronger and hurt my cat... And besides it is TONS better than what she went through on the other two meds mentioned. I alternate between this and Advantage every other month (never use more than one topical meds at the same time!) simply because I feel like I'm increasing my chance at getting all the various resistant fleas this way... Plus, Advantage is the cheapest addition. (I divide up large doses) You may want to try to switch out with Frontline (need tick control?) instead. Anyway, Vectra made a world of difference for us this year and I've already passed the word on to my friends. If you have outdoor kitties, I hear Revolution still works well. Or you can try simultaneously giving an oral flea control as well.
Btw, I advise against the other over the counter and/or unknown brands of topical flea meds like hartz, etc that u find in pet stores.
