I think that this cookbook shines in the areas of the vegetable casseroles and soups. There are also a wide variety of smoothies, juices and desserts, along with some gluten-free options.
I had trouble with the timing rhythms of some of the recipes: one recipe had you cook a shorter-cooking grain completely and then start a longer-cooking one, rather than starting the one that takes longer and, once it was going, start the shorter-cooking one. Total preparation time information would have been helpful, because some recipes require overnight soaking for the ingredients.
