To tell you the truth. I thought I dreamed up this book. My grandmother got it for me years ago as a child as either a joke or because she confusingly believed it was part of the animorph series. I read it once and promptly forgot about it until three days ago when I was removing several moldy pumpkins from my front porch. The tag line, "The fungus is among us" crawled out of the dark pit where is was stored. Vague memories of stroking vegetables and alien species reluctantly came to mind. I naturally thought, no, I must be mistaken. No-one would write a book like that, let alone get it published. Now, after three days of being plagued by this forgotten book I finally googled it. Much to my surprise, I am not going insane and this is a real book. Careful about giving it to your children, it will haunt them for 15 years before rearing its head again when they are adults.

Okay. So I have to admit it sounds pretty stupid. I also have to admit I will read the first book to see if its good. then I'll write about it again. Yesterday when I first saw it, I spent the rest of the day saying "Vegemorphs". Everyone thought I was crazy. Oh, and for all those people who want to know the first 4 clues on the Animorphs official site TV thing its WHO WILL UNLOCK ELFANGOR'S. See Ya!

This series will hopefully be funny and enjoyable, but not insulting to Animorphs. I have written numerous stories for school about my creation: The BanannaMorphs. Finally someone has realized how succesful this kind of series can be!!! Full speed ahead! Viva Animorphs and Vegemorphs!

Vegemorphs is a parodory of Animorphs. I really think it'll be good. Maybe a bit stupid, but still good. I can't wait for this book!

You heard right, there IS a Vegemorphs. Although it is hard to believe, Vegemorphs is a series. The series begins with "The Fungus Among Us." and as you can see, the cover is someone morphing into a carrot. The author, "Leif E. Green," better known as Chris Steinbach, is adimittingly running a spoof of Animorphs, as seen in the logo placed on the cover.
