How it is used ?Sprinkle Vegeta No MSG on roasts, barbecues, poultry and fish prior to cooking or add 1 teaspoon of Vegeta NO MSG per serving during last 5 minutes of cooking to enhance the taste of soups, stir-fries, rice, casseroles and vegetables. Tips & tricksUse it in any savoury dish – starters, soups, sauces, vegetables, rice, pasta, potato, meat, fish. One tablespoon is sufficient for a family meal. You can add it at the beginning of cooking, in the middle or at the end. You can add it to food during cooking, roasting or marinating No added salt is needed. |
Coolinary tip
When making salad dressing, first add 1-2 whole peeled garlic cloves to the olive oil and allow to steep for about 15-20 minutes. Remove the garlic before you adding vinegar to the garlic-flavoured olive oil that will not leave an aftertaste of garlic on your breath.
Recipe - Prawn salad
Ingredients
· 500 g prawn (or shrimp) tails
· 1 tsp Vegeta No MSG
· 200 ml olive oil
· 100 ml dry white wine
· 200 g cherry tomatoes
· 150 g sweet corn
· 50 g rocket or other bitter lettuce
· 50 ml wine vinegar, 50 ml brandy
· 2 cloves garlic ,3 mint leaves
· Lemon, salt, ground black pepper
Preparation
1. Shell and devein prawns or shrimp, or thaw if using frozen.
2. Sprinkle with Vegeta No MSG and ground black pepper, drizzle with 100 ml olive oil and marinate for 20 minutes.
3. Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet and grill the prawns. Pour in brandy and ignite.
4. Once flambéed, add the white wine and sauté until the liquid is reduced.
5. Cut each cherry tomato in half, and add the halved tomatoes to a salad bowl. Drain and add canned sweet corn, rocket or other bitter lettuce, and toss.
6. Add the prawns and drizzle with a simple dressing made of olive oil and a little wine vinegar.

Horrible! Pure sodium. I know Vegeta (Podravka) from Europe, I bought it once on Amazon from another seller and it was great! I bought it here and when I opened it and tried it, I immediately threw it in the trash, it is pure sodium, and the color is not the same as I bought it before, this one is much lighter. Do not waste your time and money.
