About the Author
After adopting a vegetarian lifestyle in the 90's she experimented with manydifferent ingredients in order to create more appetizing and appealingfood as New Zealand, at that time, was no where near embracingvegetarianism.
Early into the second decade of the 21st century, Feehad begun to learn about the welfare of farmed animals both overseas,but more importantly within New Zealand. It was this knowledge of thefarming industry that led her to adopt a vegan lifestyle.
She isactively involved with SAFE, a New Zealand organization which campaignsto stop factory farming along with other animal welfare issues, and shedoes what she can to help educate others to the benefits of adoptinganimal free living even if it is only for one day a week.
She has anactive blog where she takes great delight in venting her frustrationswith animal welfare, lack of vegan choices, environment, short-sightedpoliticians and other things.
Fee has three children, two of whom arevegan, and two grandchildren. All her children have followed in herfootsteps by being adventurous and creative great cooks and extremelyconscious of animal welfare and planet earth.
