Why the so-so rating? After reading this new version, I went on to re-read the rest of the series. The editing in all the books, including the revision, is *deplorable.* Extra words, missing words, bad punctuation, nonsensical sentences, incorrect pronouns, etc., etc., etc. The editing is so bad that I was continually jerked out of the story; many times I had to stop to puzzle out what the author meant to say.
This should not acceptable considering these novels were written by an experienced author. All of these books need to be re-edited and updated for free, not just extended.
I enjoyed it, but the shortfalls prevented my from sinking fully into the story.
I guarantee you will love this if you like books by Nuttall, Weber, M.R Forbes, M.D Cooper, or Carella.

It is not recommended-run from it, save yourselves.
