Atonement is the next book in the series, and we are given a little glimpse of it at the end of Vengeance. I am so looking forward to Magnus and Dante’s story. I really, really hope that Magnus takes Dante’s cockiness and straightens it out! That story has the possibilities of being quite explosive!
Although I was given an ARC in exchange for a review, I also purchased this book. I absolutely love Sloane’s books and it was well worth the cost of a Starbuck’s Latte!
Also, Memphis' character seemed inconsistent. A chapter would end with him declaring one thing and he'd be doing the opposite in the next. There was a scene where he's wallowing and a few sentences from Dom turns him right around. It just didn't read smoothly for me. I know her stories often have OTT events and require suspension of disbelief. I felt the events of this one just went farther than necessary and were somewhat illogical as well.
I highly recommend this story and anxiously await the next.
Great story line, and the characters you couldn't help but fall in love with.
Sloane has a gift of bringing a story to life and when you feel that you know these characters and you feel there happiness, their struggles, their pain, then that to me is what I call great story.
I cannot speak highly enough of this series and I cant wait for book 6.
