Top customer reviews
The mouse fits my hand well. Buttons for forward and back work great. The scroll wheel is a little stiffer than my Logitech, but not too much. The Verbatim is better sculpted for the hand than the Logitech, which I like. It's a beautiful blue, too.
Three areas for improvement. First, I can leave my Logitech on all the time. When I'm not using it, it goes to sleep. A shake of the mouse, and it wakes up. The Verbatim seems to stay on all the time, which will probably affect battery life. This means I have to turn it off when I'm not using it, leading to the second point--the switch. This is the tiniest switch I've ever seen, and it looks incredibly fragile. I wouldn't care about the switch except the aforementioned issue means I have to use it a lot. I worry it will break. Finally, let's face it--Logitech nailed the "leave in" dongle. The dongle for the Verbatim sticks out about as far as the Microsoft version, and both are just a tad too big. They catch on everything and are an accident waiting to happen. I'm super careful with my technology, but if you aren't, good luck.
They do offer a 1 year warranty on this product so I'm about to attempt a return. I'll update here on how their return policy is.
The customer service was great and after sending my mouse to them they verified that it was indeed dead. They sent me over a new mouse which is still working great. I'm changing the review to 3 stars. It's a great cheap mouse and a good company, but the mouse may die on you after a year or so if you use it a lot.
Love the look of it, feel of it. Not really Ergo, but close enough. Just as long as it feels solid in the hand, that is all that matters to me and that it does. The scrolling is smooth as butter and love the front and back buttons for web browsing and the such.
For the 14 bucks I paid, I don't think I could have found a better mouse to be honest. I have a couple logitech mice and while decent, feel this one is built better and seems more responsive, plus it was cheaper! Got a winner here!
The tracking is a little quicker making it only slightly hard to be precise but I got used to it. When it is turned on, it takes a few seconds before it registers, which is not that big of a problem either. The on/off switch is also a little harder to switch because it is so tiny as well, but again, all of these things are just little quirks that you may avoid by getting a better model.
All in all for the price it works great and its reliable as I use it all the time.
