I rarely purchase the OEM cases because they are expensive and usually inferior to after market models. However, when I got my Thunderbolt, I was in a hurry and didn't want to go without while I searched for a suitable case. Given the size of the phone and my lifestyle, a belt clip is a necessity (as much as I hate them). They score about as high on the dork index as they do on the functional index.

Since this case was suggested, I gave it a look and was immediately impressed. Not only is it actually quite handsome, it's functionally superb. The phone fits very securely in the sleeve, which provides openings for all ports. The exterior is hard rubber and textured for grip. It feels secure in the hand and unlikely to slip. The entire sleeve with phone then slides into the frame of the belt clip, which swivels for either horizontal or vertical carry. It fits tight enough that it will definitely not fall out, but at the same time is reasonably easy to remove. Perfect.

Quality is better than might be expected, and it looks good enough that it has caught the attention of a couple of my very fashion conscious female co-workers.

Bottom line, you'll be hard pressed to find a better combo case for the Thunderbolt. If this one broke I'd buy another tomorrow.

I have bought at least 5 cases for this phone and this one works out the best. Its lightweight, great feel and doesnt add alot of bulk to the phone. The holster is sturdy and secure and an added bonus. For $8 this case rocks!!

I am very happy with this item. My Thunderbolt phone fits perfectly in the case and the holster. The holster piece has come in very handy to carry the phone in as well. The plastic seems to be very strong. For $10 bucks, I couldn't have asked for better.

This is probably my favorite case out of all the belt clips with phone protection, I have bought this case for several of my phones iphone, Thunderbolt, Charge, Droid 3, you name it. Every single one of the is solid, some people complain about how hard it is to take it off but that's the point it is very secure for the phone so it is not meant to come off easily, besides there's really not much need t remove it because there's hardly any dust that gets inside the case.

Just chiming in with the other reviews -- this is a great case and holster combo.

The holster can be rotated, so you can wear the phone on your belt sideways, up-and-down or any angle in between. Nice little feature.

Both the case and the holster leave leave all the ports open. The holster holds the phone with friction but you can turn it upside and shake it and it won't move, yet still slide it in and out easily -- they got the friction grip just right.

One caveat that may be worth mentioning:
If you are in the habit of swapping batteries, this case may not be for you. My previous case was something my phone slid in and out of fairly easily but this case firmly grips your phone. Removing the case to change the battery is more difficult. However, my recommendation here is to search Amazon for "usb battery" -- rather than swap your battery, there are external battery packs you can get that plug into the USB to recharge the phone. I use one of these, so this case is still 5-stars for me.
