Also like many reviewers, by the time I got around to asking for a return, I was out of the 30-day window and my return was denied without further comment. So I ended up eating that money and buying a replacement pump locally for a lot more money.
Caveat emptor. If you're going to order this pump despite all the stories similar to mine, you'd better make sure you can install and evaluate it within your 30-day return window. It seems a fair percentage of these pumps are garbage right out of the box.
I would have ordered another pump, but I needed it next day to compete a project, so tanks came off. I can always put them back on if I get the correct pump later.
All together a good pump, had been working for the last 4-5 hours with no issues.
For my non-pumping Troybilt pressure washer (model 20433) this was the ticket. After calling several shops in the area and being told "You should just get rid of the broken pressure washer and buy a new one. They're meant to be thrown away when they break." I thought I would forge ahead against the advice of the "Experts". Bought this washer at a garage sale for $50. Looked brand new. (Guess these folks listened to the "Experts") Knew it didn't work but figured it was the pump. $75 for the pump and $8 for thermal relief valve and I've got a $300 pressure washer for $132 bucks. Installation is more than easy. (3 bolts ... wasn't Rocket Surgery) From opening the box to pressure wash.....less than 30 minutes. If/when this pump quits working, wouldn't hesitate to buy another one from this seller. Now, let's see.....what else can I blast with high pressure water?.......Wife's always wanting me to do the dishes.....
