After I'm done fantasizing about kicking some editor in the nuts over a specific typo, I'm going to reread this whole set of stories on my own. On second thought, I have things to do today, and if I reread this then I'm going to want to roll over and get a nap afterward. So instead I'll reread it tonight after my dinner date or to my dinner date - however that works out.
The first story sets the mood. Slightly dark and twisted fantasies with a lot of emphasis on dildos and toys. There's a magic this author weaves when he hits stride that sucks me in. A crazy magic to be sure, but it's there. And the Angel story is slightly removed, obviously his fantasy about her, and you feel that detachment but also his connection to her very physical nature.
The second story just blew me away though. This is prime stuff. The kind of detailed and off the beaten path story you hope to run across. It's not just the sex and the play with both her openings. It's the allusion and reinforced imagery that makes it clear how much he means by saying he "owns her." And even then it is the sex and the play, which would be so ordinary and innocent if it wasn't paired with his specific domination. Loved it. Will read to at least one of the women I'm dating because she'll love it too.
The last story is sexy too. If the first story was fantasies projected on a woman, and the second story was fantasizing with a woman, then the third story is much further down the road. Natalya as a character is interesting, but the use of a turkey baster to fill her with cooking oil so she has to suffer the lingering wetness that comes from that for days is both subtle and evil. I don't think there's anything safe in the household when it comes to these characters, but Natalya goes along with it even as she feels him start to fist her. Super intense with a twist as well. You anticipate that other things are going on here, but it's not just the recording that matters. I felt a shiver realizing that the open hint that she'd want anyone else being taken the way she is to enjoy watching it says a lot about self awareness in these characters which I rarely read in erotica.
