Most of the erotica you read is happily set in fantasy land. Max sets you up - there's so much real in this story that I was sucked in and laughing at the club drunks and following along with how Tom, Andrea, and Alexi interact without thinking about it. And Max sneaks in little things like Alexi's tattoos and their threeway relationship as he goes.
And then Alexi is undressed and I'm already completely convinced this is reality - her extreme tattoos and piercings, and how their bodies interact, and it's a massive mindjob because I was turned on without even knowing that would affect me! And that's just the beginning. Max takes you through the naughtiest and dirtiest sorts of sex, right to the point of how he's reacting to his jealousy about Andrea's arabian stallion lover...
All while it's still real in your head and there's no escaping it. It's the sort of thing that I know will mean crazy dreams and wanting to reread the whole story as soon as I recover from being rubbed raw and bruised... right now I'm sitting on an ice bag and I may have to avoid reading another next Max story for a few hours...
