To the outside world, Mackenzie King was the shrewd politician who was Canada's prime minister for 21 years. But in his private world, King was a man of strange and obsessive drives. He described his relationship with his women friends and with his deceased mother, and his communications with the spirit world.

Wow, a very interesting and wiley character in Canadian politics. I never new this side of this man existed. C.P. Stacey does a great job in describing this misunderstood Prime Minister.
