Product Description
Following years of growing apart, Harold Lee (Cho) and Kumar Patel (Penn) have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly arrive at Kumar’s door on Christmas Eve, his attempts to redirect it to Harold’s house ends with the “high grade” contents – and Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree – going up in smoke. With his in-laws out of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar, through New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree takes them through party heaven – and almost blows Christmas Eve sky high.

Like the previous two Harold and Kumar movies this one is non-stop jokes. There’s Mr. Perez’s Christmas story about how he grew up always wanting a Christmas tree. When his family moved to America his mom finally promised that they would have one, but then she got stabbed and killed by a Korean gang with all the members having Kumar’s face. RZA and Da’Vone McDonald play a dynamic duo of Christmas tree salesmen trading off one being the angry black man and the other being the nice one to try to intimidate their customers to get the best price. Neil Patrick Harris makes his usual appearance this time heading a Christmas special at Radio City Music Hall, and playing a drug induced letch trying to pick up on some of his co-workers. He is always over the top in these movies and this was no exception. That leads to a waffle bot that ends up saving the boys from some Russian gangsters.
If you like the previous Harold and Kumar movies then you’ll like this one as well. Most of the jokes are crude yet hilarious, just like the others.

I love this movie and have always wanted the 3D blu ray to add to my 3D movie collection.
It's getting harder and harder to get 3D blu rays these days unless you have a 3D blu ray player that is region free and shop the UK or Australian market place which is region 2 and still selling 3D TVs.
Amazon in America sells 4k blu ray/3D blu ray/blu ray/dvd region free players so you can view out of country blu rays.
If you're into 3D blu rays and have a 3D TV then I suggest picking up a region free 3D blu ray player so you can take advantage of region 2 English speaking 3D movies, Amazon has a good selection!
I purchased the "A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas (Blu Ray) [Blu-ray]" which came with the Blu-Ray, DVD, and Ultraviolet copy for $9.99. The version I received came with a Blu-ray disc and a separate DVD disc, despite what the description may state. The quality was great, as expected.
Overall, I recommend A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas for fans of comedy and the series, and even people looking to expand their Holiday collections (although I don't recommend watching with children). I enjoyed it, and it grows on me the more I watch it.
This film has strong blood and violence, full male and female nudity and sex, and drug use.
Neil Patrick Harris makes a dazzling Holiday extravaganza appearance filled with an amped up salacious appetite only he could pull off. While his screen time is limited, in each of the Harold and Kumar movies, his performances are so well acted and over the top, you find yourself looking forward to his appearance.
We see the anticipated mature level headed Harold, as the movie begins, settled into a monogamous relationship living with his soon to be wife. The ideal life, tastefully decorated upper middle class house, a peaceful existance over all. Suddenly all is turned upside down when Harold's soon to be in-laws, (I lost count after 10), headed by future father in-law Danny Trejo invade the couples house to stay and celebrate the holiday on Christmas Eve. The soon to be father in-law insists on one tradition...A live Christmas tree, (which he himself provides), this sounds simple enough (no spoiler alert here)..remember this is a Harold and Kumar movie.
As for Kumar, as the movie opens he is almost unrecogizable, (seriously I didn't think it was the same actor), his life seems to have turned into nothing but weed and the eternal search for it. He and Harold are estranged at this point... but destiny has other plans for these two.
A true jewel in the crown of the Harold and Kumar trilogy.

Being a fan of the Cheech and Chong films, Dazed and Confused of days gone past this was obvious the next step. I say that but obviously the Get The Muchies (Go To White Castle in America), Guantanamo Bay then then 3D Christmas.
Not being a pot smoker (hard to believe from my choice of films listed above) there is plenty of smoking and the toddler high shouldn't be funny for anyone but this part and the rest of the film had me in stitches. That said, the other two did too. In a way you need to watch all three films in order to get some of the story (Neil Patrick Harris gets shot in the back in Guantanamo Bay with a shotgun which is referenced in the third film (3D Christmas which can be seen in regular 2D)
These films have drug taking, nudity and a lot of swearing in them so if you're easily offended with any of those then please choose another set of films film but if you don't mind that and want your sides to split then go and buy this.

Purchasing Warning:
I added all 3 films to my basket (Get the munchies is only on DVD yet the others are on Blu-Ray) to see the total was £34. It turns out that Amazon wanted over half of that for postage because one of the items never made the minimum threshold. Chose to purchase it from other sellers and I have saved myself £20. Make sure you do the same
And the 3D, much of it CGI and delivered tongue in cheek, is largely excellent and sometimes surprising. One of the best 3D movies I've bought.
And in addition to that, Warner Bros has a horrible way to treat its users.
Highly recommended
