Accidentally aspirated baby chick who wasn’t eating or drinking (water drops from the dropper went down the wrong pipe). She started sneezing and having trouble breathing.
solution: I gave Nutri-Drench Poultry Solution in the morning and this VetRX at night.
VetRX is very much like a chicken’s Vicks Vape-o-rub. It seriously helped the chicky breathe, - I saw huge improvements in 24 hours, and within a week she is healthier then I’ve ever seen her. I’m pretty sure VetRX saved her life. The nutrient solution definitely helped strengthen her (she’s eating & drinking on her own now), but VetRX is incrediblely effective. I’ll never be without it again. A little goes a long way. I just gave her one or two drops to drink at night and rubbed a drop or two on the top of her head and a light (again just a drop or two) brush under her wings. Heavy handed & undiluted might not be wise for a baby chick underneath a heat lamp (think “tiger balm” on your skin under a hot shower)

It cures eye issues, raspatory issues and a few other issues in a wide range of birds. The bottle smells like pine oil and vicks vaporub. All natural ingredients I believe. The best way to handle this is to heat up water and taking a minute to mix into water. Overall a pretty good product.

Found my Bantam lying down and looking bad. I took him inside and put a few drops of warmed Vet RX in some warm water for him to drink. I applied some concentrated warmed Vet RX under his wings and on his beak. After a few hours of rest he was back to his old drama king self. That night we went in and applied it under the wings of all the flock at night since it was going to be cold. So far they all look to be fine. Highly recommend this product.

One of my hens had an itchy throat for a month. Every time she ate dry food, she would make a very very loud honk. She also had a bit of snot and liked to wipe her nose on the ground.
