I'm using these to light up my shed which has no power. I simply put them on the rafters and routed each to a power bank. I attached the remote near the entry door and - voila! This is a cheap, down and dirty way to get light where you need it without having to install a solar lighting system or run electrical. We only occasionally need to access the shed in the dark, but when we do, we are set. A 10 or 20K power pack should last us for months.

I knew this would not be enough to cover all my walls but there wasn't an option for more. Unpacking was easy with no hassle. I unrolled everything and planned to where I had outlets. Getting the backing off the adhesive without actually taking all of the adhesive off was a challenge but I overcame that. I had no problem getting them to stick but I question how long the lights will stay up. Now that they are up, I'm ready for the color. Red is good, Green is good as well, but Blue, one strip turns off completely and the other shines brighter than before. That's not preferable. The color below blue turns the other strip on but to a dull red and the other strip is blue. Okay that's not supposed to happen. White, again, one strip is the right color and the other is yellow. Thats not right either. I went through the rest of the colors and most have two different colored strips. One is the right color and the other is way off. Now if I could change each one individually this would be a different review but I get no such option. I tried to unplug one and try to get it to be the proper color. Even with the correct strip off, the one problem one persists. I want my money back or working lights. I won't be returning these because you can't after opening and sticking them to your wall.

Update: I have only had them for a few days and now the strip that was displaying the wrong color is deaf and will not work. I want a refund!

My daughter loves these lights. I wish you didn't have to see the cord hanging when they are at the top of the ceiling but I don't see ap way around that. They were very easy to put up. A couple spots the adhesion has come loose so I used tape to make it stick better. Ill probably buy more to finish the room off.

These 5050 LED bulbs are really really bright. I have installed them in my living behind the couch. It gives a real great effect in the room as the lights are really really bright. Adhesive is very strong and easy to stick. Just follow the directions. Please make sure to clean the surface really nice, and most probably with a wet cloth so that the glue sticks nicely to the surface. Plenty of length and two separate LED strips to be used in two different places.
