The R03 is an upmarket professional-level earphone from well-known Chinese manufacturer ViSang. With quality materials used all-around, the build of the R03 is as venerable as the sound. Metal shells and a Cu-Ag alloy cable ensure longevity while the 10.7mm dynamic driver delivers crisp, powerful, and engaging sound. A uniquely patterned cable sheath provides flexibility and reduces cable contact noise while keeping the cord from tangling and reducing snags. The included soft silicone and foam ear cushions provide plenty of isolation from outside noise and remain comfortable for hours, maintaining a perfect seal and allowing for superior bass response and detail reproduction. Though tuned for increased bass, the R03 sound involving and natural at all frequencies, providing reference-level audio quality without giving up musicality. Whether you are an audio professional or just a music junkie, the ViSang R03 will take your listening experience to the next level.

The VS-R03 does isolate noise but not as effectively as the Klipsch.
I've had the earphones for several months now and am very pleased with the product. They have proved to be very durable and the little extra bass suites my tastes just fine.
The Klipsch are highly recommended by CNET and that why I ended up buying them. But what's the point of great sounding earphones if they only last six or eight months? Do yourself a favor and pickup the ViSang instead.
I was initially a bit weary of the lack of brand name, and potential QC issues, once I listened to them, i was put at ease.
The audio quality is exceptional, they are not particularly bassy, but extremely clean and rich sounding.
If you are looking for a pair of ear buds in the $100 range, you may want to opt for these.
But in recap the sound is REALLY good. And I would recommend these headphones if you don't want to be spending a ridiculous amount of money.
