Perfect for the Season

I get so many compliments on this coat - it is unique, and people are always asking where I got it. As a tall person (5'9") with long arms I was so happy that the sleves fit and the length is perfect. The one thing to be aware of is that it isn't incredibly cozy - I live in Buffalo and on really cold days I'm still going with my full length down coat. It's not meant to be worn in the freezing cold, and it would be bulky if it was. However, for most days it keeps me warm enough on the walk from my car to the office and back.

Beautiful Quality But...

Elegant and well made but it made my chest look flat and my waist undefined. Not so flattering for larger sizes. Very professional looking and the perfect shade of red. Sadly, I will be returning it for something with a little more sex appeal.

Looks great, belt clasp doesn't stay closed

I return the first one because the clasp for the belt didn't work at all. The second one I received closed, but it often will come open while I am wearing it. Also, the coat doesn't lay properly unless it is completely buttoned up. There is no option to wear it open since the belt, and front panels flop around uncomfortably.

Elegant coat

I ordered this coat from another retailer, however I wasn't able to review it at that site so I thought I would do it here instead. First of all, I don't know how I missed this in the picture when ordering this coat but it is way longer than pictured(or I am way shorter). It's at least mid calf on me or longer. I rather like the unexpected length but NO WAY is this above the knee. We are talking 10 or more inches longer. I'm a little confused as to how this is the same coat actually, it's so much longer than in the picture. BTW I'm 5'4, about 127lbs. I am a solid size 4, which is the size I ordered and this coat is too big, so I'll try to get a size 2. I might add that if you wear a thick sweater or blazer under your winter coat this is probably well sized. It has a lovely drape and a nice weight to it, looks very elegant and slimming, lengthening(in my opinion)etc. One draw back to this coat is that in the short time I wore it I found the collar part of the coat to be scratchy. Since it has a stand up collar it does touch one's neck all the time in a way the collar of a more common lapel coat does not. If you have very sensitive skin and/or hate scratchy wool this may not be your coat. Bottom line, very elegant coat, a lot longer than advertised(at least on me)and scratchy collar.
