Right off the bat let me say that for the $282.00 cost of this " complete " ebb and flow flood table system , I didn't expect much. This considering that comparable systems on eBay were in the $532 range , nearly double and " without " the ceramic grow rocks. Considering the size and weight that a huge 50 liter bag of ceramic grow adds to the packing and shipping issues, it's VERY unusual to see the heavy ceramic grow rocks included.
the enormously heavy , over sized , 2 box shipment arrived very quickly from the time I placed my order. in the past I've ordered MANY similar 3' X 3' ebb & flow systems and gotten thin , shallow, saggy, droopy flood trays , el cheapo pumps, small soft plastic nutrient tanks and rickety square tubing stands that had plastic corner connections that broke VERY easily. still they worked Okie- Dokie and I got by with them. when I opened this package I expected pretty much the same thing and for the price, probably even less.
to my surprise I got a high quality, rigid, heavy , Botanicare flood table and and solid metal welded ALL METAL Botanicare tubing table stand. that and I got a quality Botanicare 20 gallon nutrient tub with a matching top cover , even the little viewing access hole cover , usually missing with most of these. in the box was a high quality ViaStone Echo Plus line pump, so-so 1 gallon pots , nice dependable mechanical timer I prefer those over the digital readout ones being more dependable , flood - drain fittings with precut tubing pieces. just like the ad said, literally everything you need to setup an ebb & flow system and a VERY high quality one to boot !
I don't know how they can sell such high quality name brand products for this price , include the ceramic grow rocks and only charge for 50 pounds shipping of the 90 pounds of actual shipping weight, but they certainly do. this offer is an amazing opportunity and especially good VALUE for the home grower. I'm VERY impressed and happy to recommend this ebb & flow set to anyone. I feel like I should quickly buy a couple more before they wake up and realize what they are doing ! ay aha y aahah a I doubt that any Hydroponic store can even buy them , for resale, for less and get the same quality in the process. I like it ..........
