Leaks around the wires

I purchased this to replace a 110-140 PSI switch because I was worried about blowing out my Air Horns that were only rated for 120PSI. I noticed the compressor cycling on about every 8 hours. I hunted for an air leak at all the air fittings but found none. Recently I noticed that compressor was cycling on even more often, maybe down to every 4 hours. Went hunting again and this time sprayed soapy water on the pressure switch where the wires go in to it - there was the leak. It's been almost a year since I purchased this so I'm screwed - I'll probably try to find a different brand.

Bought this for an On Board Air(OBA) system I built for my Land Cruiser. Good solid product. Only negative is the pressure switch cuts out at 110 psi. Not the 120psi stated in the specs. It's possible it's tempature related as its been a bit cold outside lately. Not sure if that is even a factor. We'll see when the temps warm up. Overall, a good fit for my OBA system.

2 years of abuse so far in a hot engine bay.

purchased this about 2 years ago. Since then its lived in my engine bay controlling my engine driven York 210 though a relay. It survived me crushing it with the hinge on first install (oops!) and 2 years of heat and every day driving. Its cut on and cut off are right where they say they should be according to gauge in my system and other gauges that I have hooked up at random times for random reasons.

This works great with my Viair 400c compressor

This works great with my Viair 400c compressor. I have a 5 gallon tank in my truck bed and was tired of the OPV opening up and losing my air. With the compressor shutting off at 120psi my dogs are no longer scared of the tank spewing air while they're in the truck bed and I still have an almost full tank to fill my tires and run my air tools.
