I have been using this speaker for AWHILE now, and it has been life-enhancing.

I feel as though, when you're reading through reviews of speakers or other tech products, it's easy to get into the microdetails (HOW long is the battery life? HOW loud is the speaker?) and then be even less sure of your purchase than where you started. So here's my everyday use review of this product:

BATTERY LIFE: I have never been annoyed at this speaker for battery life. Sometimes it will lay dormant for awhile and still have plenty of juice when I start it back up again. My husband has a different speaker that he says loses charge really fast. I do not know if this speaker has the LONGEST battery, but I only have to charge it when I've been heavily using it. Being able to plug it into one of my phone chargers when it gets low and keep on listening is very convenient, too.

SOUND QUALITY: Totally fine for my uses, which are listening to music on Spotify and listening to audiobooks and podcasts. I often can't even listen to it on its loudest volume because that's too loud, even for just speaking tracks. I can place it across the room and it is still plenty loud enough. I also found out when my laptop speakers went out that using it for my laptop was an improvement over the original speakers, so if you can never hear anything from your laptop, this speaker can help.

For the price, the sound quality is not disappointing at all, but obviously it doesn't compare to an ultra-high-end speaker. If you're looking for that, buy that. But there's nothing bad about the sound quality--nothing at all that makes me feel like the sound is unbalanced or unsatisfactory.

WATER RESISTANCE: I have not exposed this to water frequently, but I can attest that it will survive a full-on dunk in the tub because I accidentally knocked it fully into the tub. I was pouring water out of the metal mesh; it was fully submerged and soaked to the point that the sound became burbly by virtue of trying to pass through water. (Also, the sound was making water jump out of the speaker, which would have been fun if I were not upset that I might have damaged the speaker.) It kept working and I kept listening to it through the night (even though I PROBABLY should have turned it off and let it dry, but I am selfish). This was on January 1 and today, January 7, I realized I should test it to make sure it still works. It does.

Would be perfect if it could pair to more than one device at a time. Good sound quality, and loud.

I purchased this speaker so my wife and I could link it to our phones and listen to podcasts in the shower. The speaker is easy to charge using the included cable, though you will need a USB/AC plug, but most people have plenty of those these days. At first, I tried to attach the speaker to the wall using the included suction cup on the back. I cleaned the wall first to make sure it stuck. After about 20 minutes, I heard it crash down to the tub. Luckily, the speaker is covered in soft rubber and hard plastic, so falling from 4 feet didn't hurt it. After it failed the first time, I applied some water to the suction cup to help it stick, and made sure it was stuck on well. It still fell shortly thereafter. So, instead, I used the included carabiner to clip the speaker onto my shower caddy. If I didn't have a shower caddy to clip it on, I would have clipped it onto the shower curtain clips, and that's a perfectly fine option. The speaker stayed in place fine with the clip.

When it was time, I connected my phone to the speaker via Bluetooth, and it connected effortlessly, though the name is a generic number and letter instead of something I could remember like VicTsing or shower speaker. I turned the speaker on via the large, rubber button on the outside of the speaker, which you can see in my photo. A female voice lets you know it's connected and on. Then, I turned on a podcast and ran the shower, and I was impressed with the volume and sound quality for voices. This shower speaker really works well, which was surprising considering the price I paid for it (I bought it on sale during Amazon Prime Day for less than the normal $20.99 price). I played some music too and could hear the bass and treble tones well.

That first experience with the VicTsing shower speaker went well. My wife then linked it to her phone (which was easy to do; just hold down the power button until it says it's pairing). She used it during a shower and was impressed as well. If that were all there was to it, it would be an easy 5 stars. The problem arose when I went to use it again. It turns out you can only pair it with one device at a time. We can't alternate using it, which means I'll need to buy my own speaker and hang it alongside my wife's. That's enough for me to remove one star from my review, though I will likely buy another because I enjoy the product so much. If you only have one device to pair it to and want to be able to hear your music and podcasts much louder in the shower, this is a no-brainer purchase. 4/5 stars

Exactly what I was looking for... I just wanna sing in the dang shower to my hearts content. Glad that it comes with a little d-ring to hang it up, suction cups don't work in my shower. Excellent sound, easy to use, great value. My poor dog disagrees... is now subject to my singing.

I love this speaker

I love this speaker! I use it everyday. The only downside is that I have to disconnect for my husband to connect on his phone. That's not a big deal for us, so no issues.
