This book is the beginning of why the 7 became who they are, and what turned them into who they became after the incident. It will lead you through the trials of finding out who kidnapped them and why. What they will do to them when they find them? Sinclair Sterling aka Sinner, and Saint are best friends. They put together 7A an investment company which all of the seven are equal partners. They fight to get rid of the memories that haunt them and get rid of some of the anger.
Damian wants to be a rock star. However, he promised to fight the Russian Bratva to get information on who kidnapped the seven of them. When the rest of the guys find out what he did they had Barron fight in the ring but they had to save him and Arpad finished the fight for him. On the way out of the club Sinclair finds a puppy, gets jumped and almost killed. A woman named Meredith Vincent called an ambulance when the guys found Sinner. But who is she really? How was the puppy found by him again after she dropped him off at his home. And most of all who is Adam Rhodes?

This is a prequel to the story of the seven and it's starting out with a bang! The seven are Sinner, Saint, Edward, Damian, Arpad, Weston, and Barron.
This book was given to me as an arc copy for my honest review. Five stars.

The only thing I don’t like about this series is the EXCESSIVE CONSTANT REPETITIVE MENTION OF “THE INCIDENT”. WE GET IT! …. You don’t need to repeat it so many times 2 times in a paragraph 15 times per book every single book we get it!
7 super Uber wealthy teen boys were kidnapped & tortured for a month and it United them as brothers not of blood but circumstance. Each one of “the 7’s” journey to moving on healing and recovery, from “the incident” (as it is constantly mentioned) …is finding that one perfect girl who is the salve to their festering wounds. They find a healthy better life is discovered. The one that makes life worth living again. ..And finding those responsible for their suffering & making them pay! Doesn’t hurt neither.
I’m shocked that now I know who the homeless guy is… I really thought it was someone else! Wow!
And literally just finished billionaire’s sin, temptation and promise (3 books read in less than two days) ..BILLIONAIRES BRIDE LITERALLY JUST CAME OUT literally just now! waiting to read it. I’m certain it’s just as great. Laxmi loves to drag out our suffering and torture us so sweetly!

This prequel gives a little more insight into the 7 (you get to meet and learn a little about all of them), their dynamics within the group and how they started their business and made their billions.

I would highly recommend reading this before you read the 1st book in the series as it will give you more background to help you understand what's going on in the beginning of book #1 and the motivation behind it.

The story of Sinner was quite intense but as a member of the SEVEN, it was what I expected and so much more. I am not a fan of cliffhanger endings, but this book had to end in one as it is an ongoing series.

If you want to know the origins of the 7, their friendship & how their venture 7A was founded, well, this book will give you an insight into the beginnings.
The book is from Sinner's POV, which I actually think fits perfectly well.
If you're familiar with L. Steele's work , you'll find some answers to the questions that run around in your head, but not all of them..
It's quite a short story, but well worth reading!

Even if I hadn't read the books already published, this prequel would definitely make me want to read them!

This book tells their story from Sinclair's point of view and is a really enjoyable insight into their lives prior to 7A and how the company came to be. We learn more about how the seven are the way they are and the troubles that lead to their friendship. I read this after reading the series but it was lovely to understand them more.
