A friend, who was a weapons instructor and stays on top of it all, recommended this to me.
Found it here on Amazon and purchased one.
Absolutely, totally pleased with it, easily the best, slickest rifle sling I've ever had.
Forget all of those out there with with the multi adjustments. With this Vickers sling, you loosen or tighten it with one hand, pulling on the strap forward or backward - simple + quick.
Work's great on my AR.
The old model used a FASTEX (or very similar) triglide for adjustment. The new one has a triglide made of the same nylon material used in all the other hardware. It's nice that the hardware matches. The newer hardware is unpolished, and matte.
One of the sling ends came freshly cut, and fraying. The other was properly melted.
Overall, still looks and feels like a great sling. I'd give it 5 stars if I hadn't acquired an older model. The new model feels lower quality, and had (very minor) QC issues. I melted the ends myself. I'm sure it will treat me great. Can't beat the design. I'm mildly disappointed it's not identical to my older sling.
