Product Description

Victorinox, makers of the Original Swiss Army Knife, has been crafting fine cutlery since the later 1800's. The Victorinox master cutlers have applied their unique ingenuity and techniques to design the highest quality, forged cutlery line. This fine cutlery is hot-drop forged and ice tempered by master forgers in Solingen, Germany exclusively for Victorinox, then shipped to Victorinox in Switzerland for application of their famous proprietary sharp edge and rigid quality control finishing. The result is beautifully balanced, perfectly weighted full tang construction, an intuitively engineered comfortable handle, a high carbon, no stain, high polished forged steel blade with an edge that retains its razor sharpness. 7-inch Santoku Knife, also known as a Japanese Cook's Knife, combines the features of a cleaver with a Chef's Knife. its unique shape can scoop up whatever you are chopping or be used as a spatula. The flutes of the Granton Edge help make paper thin slices and prevents food from sticking to the blade.

When I received this knife it seemed really big and I was not sure if I was going to like it. I love this knife. The ergonomic handle makes such a big difference. The quality of this knife is exceptional.

I bought this for my parents for Christmas and they love it! It has replaced all their old, dull knives.

Awesome tool; tang is well weighted so feels just right in the hand, sharp as can be. I think i will also buy a 5" one. For the money, I believe this to be a good value ("you get what you pay for").

I bought this knife as a primary cutting/chopping/carving knife and I've been VERY pleased with it. It is forged to a very fine edge with a very slight taper out to the wider back edge. It cuts with no effort other than the weight of the blade through soft items and cuts excellently and cleanly through anything I've put under it.
