This is a great everyday watch with a clean appearance and is easy to read. I purchased this watch to wear to work b/c some clients take the type of watch I wear into consideration in making a decision on accepting or declining a proposal (sad but true). My "pride & joy" is a Rolex Submariner model 16610 -- a true classic timepiece that is not overly flashy.. one in which I LOVE wearing. And my other watch is an all stainless steel Timex Chrono which doesn't look like a Timex until you read the name printed on the dial.

So in my quest to reach a happy medium b/w Timex & Rolex, this is the watch I chose. I wanted a watch that looked classy & sophistocated without someone else knowing how much I spent on it (on either end of the spectrum). I also considered Tissot & Tag but being nit-picky about appearances, I didn't like how Tissot puts the letter "T" on their second hand & at the time I couldn't find a Tag with a blue face that I found appealing. One could definitely argue that this is not the watch of watches but for a reason I can't explain, this one had the "it" factor.

One thing that is a huge disappointment for me is the crown is not the screws down type, which is why I rated it with 4 stars. Even my inexpensive $60 Timex has a screw down crown. I'm very disappointed that a watch that retails for $495 (although you can get this model for <$300 online) did not have that feature.

Pros: Nice styling; The blue color is REALLY cool looking; Comfortable to wear. Even though the crown is not the screw down type (VERY DISAPPOINTING), it does have "shoulders" above & below the crown. Swiss Made. Does not "tick" very loudly. Not overly shiny. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal.

    Cons: NO SCREW DOWN CROWN!!!

I've had this watch for about five years now. It's precision and accuracy is outstanding, better than any other watch I own, most of which are quite a bit more expensive. The watch has a nice weight, and the dial isn't too large. Deserves five stars...price to value is superb I recommend this watch to anyone looking for a beautiful time piece with the chrono look. This watch has been worn daily for five years now, not a single nick on the crystal. Take the plunge, you won't regret it!

A very attractive and solid offering. Even the person adjusting the watch for me asked how much it cost. I am a long-time (20+ years) victoriinox fan. I wore a stainless dual time zone, a long abandoned model that died recently :) I chose this model for its attractive appearance, smaller size, and a RED LOGO. Im not a fan of the white swiss army logo.

The watch has a good weight to it and I love the size. Not too bulky but not super-dressy. Very sporty and clean look.

    A few things to note:
The color of the dial is more of a slate blue.
The dial is VERY hard to read due to metal lettering. Unless you have direct light you are not going to be able to read the numbers.. you can see the hands fine, but the numbers just reflect the slate blue and disappear.
Its difficult to pull the crown out when wearing the watch
The large seconds hand (the chrono seconds) does not reset precisely in the middle but rather just to the left. I have seen this on omegas and other very high end watches so Im not going to ding them for it.

So, minus one star for legibility in low light (I seriously considered minus two).

I'm really not very good at this ,but I'll give it a try. I'm 60 yr. old man and this is the best watch I've ever owned. I have another swiss army that I've had for over 14 yrs nd never any problems. All I can say about this 241120 product is OMG I have never seen a product with such class and workmanship for the money. this is my first large face watch and I'm hooked. All my old watches look and feel like toys next to this one. I tried to look at the specs on this watch, but not knowing much about what it all meant I just took a chance. When it arrives at your house the packaging alone is enough for you to realize you just bought something special. From what I understand this is a new model and I'm not telling what I paid but in 1 week it has already gone up over 60.00.

A long story short... if you're even thinking of trying this model Swiss Army watch you can't go wrong ! The color of the rich blue dial and the heavy band make this a great value. I will now pay attention to the specs of my next new watch whenever that happens and I now have a good bench mark product to use for all my future purchases.THIS WATCH ROCKS AND CUTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT AT ASHFORD.Victorinox Swiss Army Men's 241120 Classic Chronograph Blue Dial Watch

Well, I recently received this watch as a birthday gift. I had done extensive research on watches and the quality and low price of victorinox watches sold me. I bought this watch and for the first week, it worked great! The face is rather beautiful and the size is not too big or too small, just right. But as of yesterday, the chronograph hands on the watch started not functioning. Now the whole reason I bought the chrono-classic style of watch was because of the chronograph. But for instance, when the one second chronograph hand is reset, it resets at the 14 second mark. The 1/10th second hand stops about a quarter of the way between the 1/10 and 2/10 second mark, and the thirty minute chronograph hand resets at the 12 minute mark. And I have no idea why this started happening. For the first week, it worked great, but now it doesn't. This specific watch was probably the lemon, and so I'm not going to get it repaired because I don't really want to keep a watch that breaks right after the first week. I would like to get either the infantry vintage chrono or on of the dive masters. Well, other than the chronograph, the rest of the watch is beautiful. The color could be a little bit richer, maybe a tint bluer, but everything else is fantastic. That about sums it up!

I forgot to mention that the hands don't quite land on the ticks... This is my first watch that is not a digital timex so I have nothing to compare to.
