I've carried small Victorinox pocket knives for the last 40 years. They stay sharp for years (I usually lose it before it starts to dull), and I find the blades to meet most of my needs.
My favorite is about the same length as the Tomo and has the same blades, but unlike the Tomo is only the width of 2 quarters and has metal sides. Over the years that model has become much more expensive and harder to find. Like the Tomo it has no tooth pick or tweezer.
She did value the gift, as it is in her jewelry box. But she didn't use it, which kind of hurt my pride.
The problem was that Victorinox Classics are usually not considered "cute" by women. My wife likes squared off things. This has a cute color, and a cute (square) shape. it is not trying so hard to be a tool. It looks like a generic square key fob.
It is also worth noting that the tip of the nail file comes to a point, which means it was solely intended for nail duty. Or a #1 Phillips, if you're optimistic.
In the interest of style, they've also neglected to include the toothpick and tweezers. To me, that is a big, fat FAIL. To my wife? Who cares.
She's got this on her keychain, where it will stay for the foreseeable future. Mission: accomplished. Now she will always have a sharp knife, scissors, and a good nail file there. It is not exactly the way I imagined things panning out, but I'm happy with it.
If you are a man, take a pass on this and go for a Classic, or better yet, Manager or Rambler. You'll get more tools in a smaller package.

No tweezers or toothpick?!? Also have to have a long fingernail to catch and pull out what you wantPublished 1 month ago by Lucy Van Dell
Like the color. Disappointed that it does not have the toothpick and tweezers. I didn't pay attention to that fact when I purchased and would have chosen a Classic if I had.Published 18 months ago by JS
