Max B could of done better

I think this album was decent being that he's locked away for 75 yrs, but alot of the songs seem to get boring fast, esp. the new ones. I would only reccommend this album if your a true max b fan, other then that it's prably a waste of time, the only good songs are the ones we heard before, most of the new joints are wack with catchy hooks. Max b verses are wack and you only look forward to the hook. Nonetheless it's still a decent album, Much better then Jim Jones CAPO

ReasonS to buy: Hot album, Hot lirics,hot hooks, Real talk, hot beats. Max B started a wave that all of dipset surffed on, Max B wrote most of the songs for Hustlers P.O.M.E an album by Jim Jones in with he also wrote 'BALLI'" and wrote lirics for all of the dipset camp including J.Santana. Going back to the album, "Yes" it has hot hooks because Max B is the Hook king heands down. Now Max is way better thn Jim Jones aka Vanilli from Vinni, Vanilli, JAJAJA But yeah after Max was locked up Jim used all of hs material to hs advantage, USING HS LIRICS AND HAVING PEOPLE OF HS CAMP RECITATE MAX B LIRICS IN SONGS LIKE IF IT WAS THEIRS, until Max took Jimmy aka Jim Jones aka Vanilli to court and took all the rights for hs music. This album was recorded while he was w jim and dipset but Jimmy knew that this guy had way more talent thn the hole dipset camp, Therefore he didn't let the album drop. Max signed w [...] and via them he released this album. Anyways if you are tired of the same old lame bs these rappers are giving you for music these days, Then is time to pick up this album. This dude is as real as it gets and none of hs songs are wack. I am glad this album was released because is a slap in the face of wack jim jones aka vanilli. Finally just wnated to adds that Max B is innocent and was sent to serve a 75yr in prison wtch is really a 40yr sentence for a crime he was not even there to commit. Free Max B, is the system can let K.Anthony walk then Max B should be release Asap. Oooowww!!!

If anyone’s capable of making a classic rap album, it’s Max B. That’s a conjecture that has little to do with his rap skills. It’s his unmatched ability to compose melodic hooks that puts him in a class of his own. Most rap songs suffer at the breaks, which is arguably the most important part of a song, but not his. He sings them with the same playful laid-back delivery and that makes him a one-trick pony, but it’s an impressive trick. Add the fact that his raps are consistently on-point; putting him at least on-level with Biggie, Jay-Z and 2Pac, the three rappers that inspired his ridiculous “Biggaveli” moniker; and Max B instantly becomes a force to be reckoned with in the world of popular music.

What prevents this, his first official album, from being the masterpiece it could’ve been comes down to the song selection and the order in which those songs are presented. Max B is in prison, he’s been in prison since 2009 and he’s sentenced to be there for about 73 more years, so some of these songs have been circulating on the internet for years. But many of the ones not included here, like the classic Bang Bang Boogie, should’ve been. Tattoos On Her Ass, which confuses groupie appreciation with rap beef, is a rush of messy excellence. Porno Musik is hot. Money feels like a million bucks. Boss Don Season, in which he sings in the melody of the beat, is comparatively lackluster.

My biggest problem with the album, it’s most glaring blunder, is that its first verse isn’t even by Max B. The album, which begins with a song entitled Model Of Entropy, is basically introduced by a rapper named Young Riot, which flaws the concept right from the start. It’s a decision that probably shouldn’t bother me as much as it does; I can be OCDish when it comes to such things; but it does. Vigilante Season, even with its flaws; I didn’t even mention the mixtape-level mixing/mastering; is as “wavy” as a hurricane though. It’s about as good as I expected from an album that, unless Max B manages to go free from prison on appeal, which seems unlikely, may as well be posthumous.
