Viking Cycle Ironborn Motorcycle Textile Jacket
Viking Cycle Ironborn Motorcycle Jacket for Men has CE approved armor that passes the highest impact tests available. Its stylish structure comprises of removable armor on the elbows, shoulder & spine. It also includes advanced waterproof treated Rock Tex 600 outer shell with an ergonomic design. It is next generation liner technology that is fully-sleeved, removable, and highly insulated for the colder rides. The jacked was designed with a 6-point Sure Fit custom adjustment system that allows you to truly adjust the fitment in 6 key places. For example, we've added adjustable belt strap for added comfort & adjust-ability. In addition to all of that, the Ironborn jacket has an all-new ventilation system that allows cool air in and pushes hot air out. Add to that waterproof zippers that will be easy to grip when wet and you've got yourself a great combination for a true 3-season jacket. Reflective stripes were added to the design in order to make yourself more visible when doing some night time riding. Furthermore, we added a quick-access mobile phone pocket, a hidden pocket, a knife, & a sunglasses pocket as well. The phone pocket will allow you to access your phone quickly at a stop if you need to. For added convenience, we added a head phone system that allows you to push your headphones from the phone pocket through the collar and into your ears, bravo! A lot of thought was put into the Ironborn, are you ready to be reborn?

The sized is right but snug. The best design I have ever seen in a motorcycle jacket. Pockets everywhere. Do your self a favor and be protected by Viking. I am so glad I did.
It also looks like a very casual light jacket which is what really drew me to this product in the first place. I ride a V-Star cruiser and really didn't want a ricer jacket no offense to anyone just not my style. Also the padding is hardly noticeable. Overall I'm really impressed by this jacket. I'll update this review more once I get caught in the rain.
This is an excellent jacket with the perfect amount of protection, visibility, and pockets. I was worried about the stomach area being too large based on other reviews, but everything is cinchable. There are velcro straps in the abdomen area, along with zipper and velcro cinches by the wrists for easy space adjustments with gloves. Also, there is a button adjustment cinch by the upper forearm, which I tightened up.
Armor-wise, I will probably replace the back armor with CE2 rated armor for increased safety. However, the elbow, upper forearm, and shoulder armor all seem very safe and I don't feel the need to replace them. The armor fits well and covers all the areas that would typically hit the ground if there was an accident.
Additional features: The vents are great and who doesn't love a ton of pockets? The pockets all seem very well-placed and have a semi waterproof type of seal around the zippers. I haven't tested this in rain, but I'm sure the pockets will seal up and protect my belongings from getting wet. Additionally, there is an earphone holder/port near the collar for those who ride with their earphones in. The liner is also nice for colder climates, but I don't think it'll be needed since this jacket is fairly snug and warm enough as-is for southern California riding/commuting.
The padding and protective measures on the jacket are first rate. Would trust this 100 percent in a crash, though I hope I never have to.
