Even though storing ramekins doesn't require much space because they're stackable, I didn't want to get two sets for the recipes I was considering – 6 oz. and 8 oz.

So 7 oz. (or 7.5 oz.) works really well for me. Just a small adjustment up or down in cooking time, if that. And I could see them being just right for serving a good-size scoop of ice cream – Which in my case will be great for portion control.

So far I've made Potatoes Romanoff and Chocolate Creme Brulee.

The Creme Brulee might have fit better in a 6 oz. ramekin, but honestly this was fine. And if I'd made Potatoes Romanoff in 6 oz. ramekins, the portion size would have felt small. This size was just right for that.

I'm stoked to try souffles later this week (since I used all the egg yolks in the brulee, and now have leftover egg whites). After that, I'll probably take a break and/or try to find healthier recipes, LOL.

That said, I am definitely looking forward to holiday cooking with these.

They also cleaned up beautifully afterward.

*One thing I look for when buying items like these is whether the product description clarifies that they are lead- and cadmium-free. If they are, I wish the seller would note it in the product description.

Hi! I ordered these for food prep. I put my chopped onion in one and my chopped carrot in another, etc, and then it becomes the little taste test bowl when my soup is nearly done and every body wants to tell me what I forgot.

I like that they stack so nicely. I like that they're between 6 and 8 ounces so I can measure an approximate 3/4 Cup or 1 Cup of something. I like that this holds the perfect amount of ice cream.

These are nice quality ramekins that can add a level of elegance to any kitchen, whether that be using them for your mise en place or using them as bowls for actual dishes. They arrived in great condition, packaged with care to ensure no damage through shipping. Out of the box, I really liked how thick and sturdy the porcelain was. They're of really nice quality and and have a minimalistic design that lets the contents inside the Ramekin really shine, while still being visually appealing in their own right. I like that they are oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. This is great for all your cooking needs and allows them to be used in many situations. I think these are a great set and I'm so excited to wow my family with their own individual desserts in these ramekins!
