This audio book is Vincent Price at his best. My family loves this. It contains the perfect amount of spookiness and mystery. Cuddled up with the family, turned the lights off and turned the audio book on! What a treat. This CD lets the imagination run wild. Great stuff! CRT does is again.

I so love Vincent Price's older more classic movies and this production is something that celebrates that. There are four wonderfully macabre and eerie stories to listen to. My favorite is Canus which is about an unusual birthday celebration and a special dog that twists the expression "man's best friend" rather thoroughly! Then there's Tinglers, which starts on the radio and ends up in a Jungle with three people trying desperately to stay alive! Oh yeah...Don't forget to SCREAM! Then there's Fade Away a spooky tale of an elderly man who's having some bad dreams. The last in this quartet of horror is Road Rage. All about an executive type that thinks he can push people around. He learns a lesson from Mr. Price about manners.

Jerry Robbins & The Colonial Radio Theater bring yet another treat for your ears folks and this is another winner. I suggest you buy a copy in time for Halloween, if you think you can take it? Please feel free to SCREAM!

As a huge Vincent Price fan, this series keeps capturing my attention. I love that each story features Vincent Price either as a subject in or telling the story. It is a great tribute to the master of horror. It is a good book for people that are not into hack and slash horror books. This is strictly gothic horror which is more frightening to me anyway. I loved this story a lot - from the art to the storytelling. Mr. Price would be proud!

Let me start with I am a Vincent Price fan. If you have not heard The Price of Fear: Classic BBC Radio Horror, it is classic Price.

Now to do an audio adaptation of a comic book or a graphic novel is a balancing act...sometimes its works and other time it doesn't! This is because in a graphic format, you have pictures to lean when a story seems to lead nowhere, On audio, you have foley effects to fill in for thge images that arent there.

In naming an audio presenation "Vincent Price Presents", some of the stories should center itself around the many characters that Mr Price has played over the years. The only story of this audio collection is a sequel to the film the Tingler. You could have called this audio collection could have been called anything from the Outer Limits to the Twilight Zone, because Mr Price's activity .

This audio collection is based on the Bluewater comic book series. I cannot fault the great audio talent of the Colonal Radio Theatre. Their acting is above par with these sub standard pieces of graphic storytelling.I will say this, director Jerry Robbins knows how bring out the best in these four radio dramas

I only wish the source matterial was as good as the cast who preforms it. I could wish the CRT would do some sort of collection of Price driven stories on one collection of Vincent Price Presents

There is an audio extra of Vincent Price's daughter on the end of the second disk. Interesting listening

This collection is still worth listening to, just not the best stuff from the CRT
