I originally read this online but I decided to buy it as a gift for someone I know who loves mangas like this just as much as I do. I know she will really enjoy it. it came in perfect condition.

This is my first dive into Vinland Saga and I'm already hooked, it's a nice change of pace from the usual shonen that take place in and around Japan. It's heavily Norse inspired so if you have even the slightest clue about Norse Mythology or are interested in Vikings this will probably scratch that itch for you. I don't know much more than that, this is my first time reading it and I'm only maybe 2 chapters in at time of writing. My only complaint, and this has absolutely nothing to do with the contents manga, Amazon doesn't really take proper care of making sure books don't shift around inside the box or get dinged up during transit. The bottom right corner of my manga is bent in a little and the top of it has a cut right in the top almost like a small flap. It's a little upsetting but the inside of the book isn't damaged at least. I'm lenient with these kinds of things but other people might not be, so just a word of warning.

First of all, the quality of the product is very nice. I love the hardcovers, the pages are high quality and I’ve been able to read the entire series without even creasing the spine while also being perfectly ergonomic for books with 300-400 pages. They have taken top shelf to my manga display and it’s AMAZING for the price point, I mean you just can’t beat it.
Secondly, the content is just GOATED to be real. The story is just hands down amazing, Vinland Saga is a top tier shounen series and I highly recommend it to anyone. The translation is on point, the art is immaculate, character development and the relationships you develop with characters can be honestly goosebump worthy. I turned into a HUGE fan and I will probably reread it over and over. So if you’re looking for a new series to get into please let it be Vinland Saga! I promise you will not be disappointed! On top of that, the shipping is really quick, you won’t have to wait long.

I’ve clearly been sent a used and worn copy. The spine is bent and bruised and there’s a tear in the hard cover itself. 5 stars for great manga, averaged with 0 stars for bad business.
