I smoke a pipe and this lighter is just right for the job. I like the soft flame, the appearance, and the feel - very ergonomic. Thought it might be too big for my pants pocket but it's not. I like this lighter a lot.
Sept 2021 Update:
Used this lighter pretty hard over the past months. It stopped sparking. I wrote to the seller. Guess what? They replied w/in 24 hrs asking for more details. I answered the same day. 24 hrs later they wrote back that a replacement was on the way. No request for old lighter back. No request to pay shipping. Just a compete hassle-free, stand-up transaction. New lighter arrived in 2 business days. 5-star service and 5-star seller. Well done!

Not even light-breeze proof, hard to keep lit especially trying to light a pipe. Looks cool though, for the price its worth keeping.
Sealed tighter than a Zippo so the fluid lasts longer

The good part is that I like the weight, shape and pipe lighting style of this lighter. The bad part is that less than a week in using it, the soft flame was gone and I had to keep turning up the dial to get a flame which was larger than I wanted. I also have to click this several times. There is a certain way to push it down to get a flame and if it isn’t done just that way, it won’t work. Another problem is that when I’m filling it, the butane fuel comes pouring out the top of the lighter!
I paid $17.00 and it’s not hardly worth that price with the poor precision of this lighter. There’s a years warranty for this, which I doubt that this will last that long, so I’ll see if it’s honored and update later

The lighter is very gold, very gaudy gold, and does not match the paler metal color in the pictures.

The metal finish is rough and the torch adjustment is hard to turn and not precise. I will pay more to buy a better lighter. Not worth returning.

Worst of all, the ignition button is very sensitive... 1/16" movement of the button releases gas. I imagine it will empty itself just from normal carry in a pocket.

Lighter seemed used right out of the package. The bottom was loose from the wood casing, and there seemed to be old butane crust surrounding the refill slot and bottom. And it was able to light before filling?? I thought it was illegal to ship with fluid.

Anyways, the adjustment works but you have to adjust it all the way down so you don't have a flame thrower. Also takes a million clicks to get it to light. Would not buy again.

There are a bunch of similar lighters on amazon. I tried several options and returned them due to bad performance: 10-20 clicks to get some fire.

I was lucky with this one as i can light my pipe just with several clicks, mostly from one or two.
I purchased because of the design. Looks and feels solid as more expensive options from European famous brands.

I rated 4 from 5 as i still doubt that is will last for long. Otherwise, it's 5 from 5.

Has a nice adjustable flame. It's not one of those blow tortch lighters, but I wanted a good light flame for a pipe. So far this has been nice. Kinda a pain to fill, but whatever.
